I've gone through the majority of these threads here concerning the "card cannot be verified" issue and none of the fixes work/ apply to me. I also can't seem to find the EA store's bioware points purchase item (I assume they removed it by now) so I'm wondering if anyone here knows any other places where I could purchase bioware points?

any help concerning the card issue or an alternative store would be appreciated

To confirm, if you select Profile and Add BioWare Points, when you try to purchase it says card cannot be verified? If you try PayPal does it work?



Outside that store, the only method I'm aware of is purchasing a BioWare points box at a retail store, which is only available in some countries in europe.

that is correct, but I don't use nor intend to use paypal.

although it might be infinitely easier to finally sign up with them.

On that note though, I get the "card can't be verified" error with multiple cards that I've used including but not limited to: 
- my own
- amex gift card
-visa gift card
- my mom's


I can't tell if its from my end or biowares anymore

I'm getting the same issue. Yesterday I tried to buy any ME2 DLC and it shoved me back to masseffect.com. Today I got my hopes up when it actually got to the "Buy Bioware points" screen then the checkout screen. I put in everything correctly only to have it say "card can't be verified". I even bought something from Steam on the same card just to make sure it wasn't a problem on my end and it worked without a hitch. I've used the same card on multiple sites in the past without problems. This is an EA or Bioware issue, and I'd really like it fixed so I can play the new DLC.

I've got the same problem "The credit card could not be verified".

I use Visa, And I've entered the right info.

I got the same problem also. would be nicer if there where cards to by from a store so I won't have to worry about using my credit card

There are prepaid-type cards which you can buy, they give 1600 points.
