I'm still getting an "angry" vibe from your posts. You should put some Image IPB in them, or people may think you are overly hostile. As for speaking to me, stick to plain English. I speak it well. Also, how can it be more the a video game? That's what it is. Don't get me wrong, It's a great video game, but it's still a video game. To assume I don't take ME seriously is a mistake on your part, and, for future reference, I don't need to be informed of your bathroom schedule.

EDIT: Typo.

Oh sorry.  **** you :P:Px2.

I'll write to you thanks.  No need to talk.

When does a piece of art, cease to be just a piece of art?  Philosophy of beauty.

I dump on you.

Oops, shame it had to end up this way.  Looks like someone is going to have a rough afternoon.

Dem's the BREAKS

LEG BREAKS THAT IS.

Assuming Miranda is still alive, I'm sure it will be dealt with.

I've considered this. Here's the thing: harming Oriana, in any way, would not bring Miranda to heel. It would simply guarantee that she would start actively working to screw over Cerberus in general and TIM in particular.  At best you could force her to cooperate temporarily by hanging the threat of harm over her head, but it's, you know, Miranda: she'll be looking for ways to turn the tables and destroy your leverage the whole time and you'll hardly be getting 110% on whatever you force her to work on.

The best course for TIM is to leave Oriana the hell alone and either kill Miranda outright or wait and see if she actually causes significant trouble for Cerberus  and then kill her.   Even then, it's still risky (maybe even heavily so) because she'll have figured this out already, and the assasination could end up being an assassination attempt. At that point, she could either hide, and she's smart enough and knows Cerberus more than well enough to pull that off, or again be inspired to actively work against Cerberus.  Also, you've almost certainly just gone and annoyed at least some of the other Shepardfriends.  Wanna deal with trying to execute successful hits on all of them (only way to be sure) and avoiding the massive fallout that's sure to follow even if you succeed?

At that point, the best TIM could really do would be to use Oriana as bait in a dead obvious trap, which if it failed.....well, you get the idea. And this all assumes that she doesn't just go get Oriana ASAP and hide her somewhere else instead of relying on Cerberus' good will. What?  You think she doesn't know where her sister is?  TIM trying to keep just that bit of information from her would have raised her suspicions way the hell up, and I'll bet you she triple-checked just to make sure, 'cause it's not like she has many illusions about Mr. Illusive.  And if TIM tries to prevent that by re-hiding them first....

The best way to regard that letter is this: while TIM probably did consider various Oriana-as-leverage scenarios, just 'cause that's his style, he probably legitimately believed that because of Cerberus doing this for Oriana, Miranda's loyalty, which was very, very solid to begin with, was now basically guaranteed for good, no matter what. I.e., he honestly didn't think he'd ever have to try and use Oriana as leverage, which is just as well because it wouldn't really work so hot anyway.
IOW, Oriana doesn't have anything to worry about, because TIM's got more than enough problems already.

ME1:

I cannot believe I never thought of this before.

How the heck did Tali have evidence of Saren's attack on Eden Prime (which is referred to as having already happened in the audio recording) when she arrived several days on the Citadel before Shepard even arrived. Presumably her encounter with the Geth happened at least a day or two before her arrival!

Fight for the plot?

I can't do that. Why? There is no need. The plot is solid. ME2 fights for itself, and it fights well. As for the people who spend hours gripping about the "plot-holes" I say to you: It's a ****ing video game. Catch the football and run with it jack***.

Media has stories.

Hmm, just a video game?

Let me put this in a way you'd comprehend then: **** off.

Why so angry?

I'm not.  I'm communicating in words and tone you can understand.

It's never "just a game."  Not to BioWare.  Not to us.  Well obviously to you.  Why you bother to spend time on "just a game" here is hilarious, but hey, people.

The plot of ME2 is a piece of flying garbage.  In case you weren't paying attention.  Of course not to you, its solid.

I had to go take a bathroom break to alleviate the giggles.

And then destroy them with logic, reason and evidence.  While they retreat to emotion and ad homs.

What forum does that take place on? We'd love to see some of any of those, since "self-congratulatory braying of subjective disappointments" doesn't really qualify.

Logic, reason and evidence don't typically involve swearing in an attempt to "enhance" your argument. You certainly won't find much of it in an educational setting, even if the arguments are provocative.

God. Take your fanboy bullsh*t elsewhere. I'm just informing another poster there's another game that has choices that impact a plot.

WTF is your point?

WTF are you trying say? Chill your goddamn Photoshop and make a bloody point, or don't bother posting.

WTF are you trying to say? 'cause it's totally unrelated. So stop. Make a damn point or shut it.

I use it when:
1) I've already presented all arguments and evidence.
2) It's all your opponents understand.

This is usually because they use enthusiasm and personal opinion.  I dare not combine reason, logic and evidence with swearing.  Unless I'm just goofing around at that point, which is the equivalent of talking to a wall.

You've only presented one side of the argument - in fact, that's really all you've ever done here.
