This is usually because they use enthusiasm and personal opinion. I dare not combine reason, logic and evidence with swearing. Unless I'm just goofing around at that point, which is the equivalent of talking to a wall.

It's funny how you think being an armchair critic is worthwhile and "reasonably intelligent". It doesn't require much intelligence to complain all the time.

Case in point.
Got an argument? Make it. No one's stopping you from doing whatever you want. (Well, aside from posting crap on my video comments.)
I'm so sorry you think I'm a douche. Heartbreaking really. I kind of like people who have actual points and arguments to make. That opening line by me was more of a joke, and also a subjective comment due to my lack of video game knowledge, and strong disappointment considering it has Mass Effect in the title. That doesn't negate any other point made in the videos, however.
I strongly encourage you to make any media you like. Even an Ecael video game design #203. God those are awesome.

I think Ecaels point was that do you think ME1 was perfect, compared to ME2? ME1 is definetly superior in writing and I think majority of us know that ME2 has its problems. You do have sharp eye and pick up faults quickly I give you that, but you are not the first one to bring them up on this forum. And are the faults of ME2 so bad compared to ME1 that it warrants such cold hate?

I am not particulariy comparing the game. I have analyzed the plot. You do not need to compare one plot to another plot. You could, however, look at things like thematics, or literary techniques, or settings, and understand how and why those are used (by looking at other stories, and I guess you could shout examples and call that a comparison, like other space operas.) But I don't really even do that. (I have a few comments from ST and B5 of how to deal with certain issues, but that's it.)

"...what the hell happened to the Reaper plot from the first game?"
And how ME2 did nothing with that. I don't need to analyze the entire thing to show all the multiple threads that have references or exposition in ME2, because they have nothing to do with the plot of ME2. That'd be like talking about how Shiala/Gianna/Rachni asari chick/etc. have a cameo/emails. So? That's not a ME2 plot analysis. That's listing things that have nothing to do with what I'm analyzing.
