I was kind of hoping for an early 2012 release. This wait is going to be horrible.
Disagree. Dec. 21, 2012! Mass Effect 3! Just in time for the world to end.
But seriously, I hope they take their time with it. It needs to be as close to perfection as possible.

on average it takes 2-3 years to makes the games bioware relesed mass effect 2 in january so tht gives them 2 years so it will be relesed in 2011 or 2012KGarrett55 wrote...
All right, ignoring the fact that the article in question is a fake, I still don't think that release date (2011 or 2012) is reasonable. With 2010 pretty much over already, they'd basically be forcing themselves to rush the product, and even then you're talking about somehow making a much larger game than ME2 (by necessity) in a much shorter timeframe - one to two years instead of three - while still making it a worthy conclusion to the series. If I'm honest, the more time they spend polishing it, the better, but we know they won't do that. Even if they were so inclined, EA wouldn't allow it.

In seriousness, though, I am not disputing that. I simply believe that it isn't enough time for the game to be made as good as it can be, especially if Bioware doesn't want to leave any loose ends when they wrap up the story.
