So I'm trying to make a few videos for fun and want them to be as awesome as they can be. No plot confusion (like the ones for my movie). So I want them to be heard clearly, not move, and to see it perfect (almost pro you could say). So while we filmed a bit in my house I looked up lots of cameras and mics. I even found where to buy green screens.

So the cameras I want are:
iHome Webcam (for a vlog thing) ($50)

Kodak Zi8 (cheap and effective) ($150)

Canon Vixia HF200 (our goal) ($500)

As for mics I have no idea. I was thinking either a shotgun mic or a boom mic. Since more than one people appear at a time so which should I get? Um.. also thoughts on the camera possibly where I can find them cheap or cheaper.

We're filming a bit but our current camera takes wind too much and doesn't take mics. So suggestions? Opinions? Questions? Answers? Links for the camera or mics (shotgun or boom mic, possibly with the stick)
