Just started seeing this. I've changed out my bound keys, reset to defaults, etc,, but it keeps happening. As I move about all of asudden the map comes up and off again. This is the circular map in the lower right. This is also for the PC version.
Anyone see this? Any ideas why its happening? How can I stop it. The ding that constantly accompanies it is SOOOO annoying.

this is happening to me as well and I haven't been able to track it down yet. my initial install didn't do it. it just started happening, and i haven't changed anything. anyone else with ideas. it is really annoying.

i just installed the free Cerberus DLCs and now my "map" icon in the bottom right corner is constantly flickering on and off and making a screeching/beeping noise. as stated above its pretty annoying and i'd love to hear how to make it stop!
