I bet he cast English Jews.

Not sure, he cast that guy who played as number 6 in the original Prisoner TV series from the sixties as King William Longshanks.
The scenes with him were some of the only good scenes in the movie.  One particularly funny scene was when his son's gay lover revealed he had been appointed a military leader and then number 6 threw him out a window.

HAHAHA!

I watched Braveheart on demand recently.
What a long, boring, stupid movie. Mel Gibson in a catholic school girl skirt? No thanks.

The historical inaccuracies in that movie make me want to cry.  Sir William Wallace was an educated man with English military training, not a peasant.

Anyway, the last movie I watched was Prince of Persia: Sands of Time.  It was fun, and more like the games than I expected it to be.  Yes, my standards for summer movies are very low.  So long as things blow up and people die, I'm happy.

Yeah no kidding.  Even worse was how they made it so princess Isabelle got knocked up by William Wallace even though she was only 10 when William Wallace died.
So the British royal family descended from William Wallace according to Mel Gibson.  Pretty funny.

I disagree with you. Surprise Surprise, I know.  I don't really care if it's not historically accurate. If I want to know the facts, I'll read a history book. They're entitled to artistic liberties.  The movie, as a whole, has everything I Iove- humor, romance, action packed fight scenes- not to mention I love the accents (fake or not). I personally think Braveheart is one of the best movies ever made. I can watch it over & over again & not get bored with it.

Let's be blunt: There are a lot of great legs in Braveheart.

'Nuff said.

I think Mel Gibson should stick with movies like Passion Of The Christ. At least that one is based on fictional characters.

OH NO I DIDN'T!

I'm not religious by any means, but Jesus was a real person. Whether he is the son of god or whatever is up to debate.

Rob Roy was better than Bravehart, cool sword fight at the end.

I kinda thought Inglorious Basterds sucked. It seemed like 90 percent of the characters all had the exact same personality and dialogue style. That's true of any Tarantino movie though. Only character I liked in that movie was that one dude who was in the German propaganda films because he shot that stupid girl at the end.

The guy who played as the villain was a really good actor but Brad Pitt sucked.

In the humble opinion of this forumite, it's not worth the money.

However, my taste in movies differs from others, as does my sense of comedy. Perhaps you will like it.
