I stopped reading right after the Ammo Collecting point. At least that guy tried to look like played the game, ... maybe he even did, but he should have read the codex carefully before stating that the weapons are energy-based. This moron completely misunderstood the presumptions on which the whole universe is build upon.

why can't dude just have multiple sentient women in his quarters (keeping all of them)? personal ASSistants? B) they personally work for him... as his Star Fleet secretaries/attendants, and personal captain quarters housekeepers (and fish feeders, etc). they go where ever he goes (garden class planets)

Toasting in a roll bread.

And the points are either conjured out of thin air or purposefully distorted.

EDIT- And advertising for your own work is not done here as a rule.

Him hating it won't make me enjoy it less, although he's obviously a hardcore RPG fan (not that thats a bad thing!) and I could see why many of the change would be a little jarring to those people.

And while I do agree that Jack was woefully stereotypical, I disagree that ALL that crewmembers were shallow cardboard cutouts, and I consider the loyalty quests some of the best of the game (although I would love to have a DO:A style of conversation system, where people like you or hate you depending on what you answer and the relationships are a bit harder to make successful, but w/e)

He does have some valid points, but then again, it does look like he's trying his best to make what he says look smart and believable, when I really doubt he even bothered to beat the game. But what can you do? Some people are just pathetic.

END OF LINE!

I actually liked Mass Effect 2 before. But after reading that article, I opened my eyes. Now I hate this game. Hate it with my whole little, black heart. I will now start making threads about hopw awful this game is and how everyone should hate it with me.

even though I don't agree with the series/story's continuity ... I love the game.

1. ...not an issue.

2. Not a problem for 360 as of the patch.

3. "Loyalty" is a bad name for these missions. Just rename them "Focus" or "Character" missions and there wouldn't be a problem.

4. Compared to the looting in ME1? Thank GOD it's gone.

5. Not a reason to dislike the actual gameplay. As for continuity, they should have made the system a blend of cooling down and popping heat sinks.

6. Better than the clunky menu-buried system of changing ammo from ME1.

7. Granted, squadmates should have at least worn armor in battle, if not changeable.

8. Disagreed.

9. ...then don't buy fish.

10. And the problem here is...? Seriously, I don't understand the complaint.

11. Put skill points into them and research into "Biotic Damage" and this problem's solved. And people claim Mass Effect 2 isn't an RPG.

12. This is just ridiculous. The fact that someone would complain about this, I mean.

13. ...then don't buy it.

14. Untrue. First of all, depending on whether or not you let the council die (and if you pick Udina or Anderson), you either get your Spectre status back or you don't. There's also plenty of other changes- if you don't import, the game decides you killed Wrex, the Rachni queen, wiped out Feros, didn't get it on with Liara, etc.

Then why post it? You know it's not going to get a good reception, so I'm just confused as to what you intend to accomplish here.

Maybe the poor guy/girl was naive enough to think posting something ME related was going to provoke discussion, rather than just having the pack descend on him/her? Gotta love how friendly these forums are nowadays. *Grumble*Getoffmylawn*Grumble*

So others can read it too, and say whatever it is they want about it!!!

....and I don't post anything just to have people agree with me, nor did I say that it was a particularly intelligent article.

Don't agree with it all.

That said, the captions had me laughing a storm.

It's a weird mix of good points, hopeless nit-picking and humour, which makes me doubt the author disliked the game in any way. I was entertained.

No. I just spend alot of time online in places where people are civil. At one point (waaaay back) that included the ME forums. As always, one can count on people to be total jerks when they're anonymous. :P

Yep that about sums up my problems with the game. I even had a few lols in there.

inb4 and inafter BW fanboys say he's whining for having an opinion. And call him a troll because he doesn't think this is God's gift to gaming.

I am paranoid, I concede that point. It's not my intention to be unwelcoming. But, the article seemed like flamebait to me, so I assumed that the OP was a troll. I wish I didn't have to make that leap of logic, but, well, this is the BioWare forums.

If not, then it's a mistake. If so, then we should ignore it.

I thought it was funny that he even considered Kelly not being romanceable a reason to hate ME2.

He's misusing the word hate. You should know that.
