I would love for her to finally get the respect she deserves. Her thoughts on mass relays were right. If people started building new mass relays they would learn more about them. So I'm hoping for a cameo in ME3 and I'm also hoping that she will get a position as an advisor amongst the Asari or perhaps she could be an assistant to the Asari member of the council.

I would love having Aethyta as the bartender to the Normandy. Even if my Shep wasn't romantically involved with Liara she still would be a friend. And having her father as a crew member would definately be interesting. And that way Liara would catch two birds at once, having her father and her best friend/lover at the same ship. Not to mention it would help Aethyta to know Liara as well. 
And please, don't start arguing with me about Aethyta being Liara's father, because it would be just as pointless as arguing about our taste of food.

If Liara will end up spending the majority of ME3 on the Shadow Broker base, it'd be awesome for Aethyta to move in with her.

Since Claudia Black has VO work with at least one other plot important character (Admiral Morri-- Xen), we can be fairly sure she will be working on ME3. Aethyta might not be "plot important", but she's a great character nonetheless and it would offer great comedic and perhaps even touching scene potential, having her interact with Liara and Shep. Especially if Liara is the LI for the Shep in question.

Perhaps a dad meeting the prospective boy/girlfriend and having the "talk" scene?  "Okay son/missy, let's get a few things straight, if yer intent is to start courting mah little girl..."

Since when was Aethyta confirmed to be Liara's dad?

Are yall talking about the vid from the SB base?

I thought she was more of an informant.

I know this isn't exactly the riight place to start the speculation again but the most logical reason why she has Liara's picture on her table is because she is the father. And i know it's not a definite proof but i do hope they are family, and that they would meet as such in ME3. Both Liara and her father do deserve some happiness after what happened to Benezia.

I dont expct Bioware to make a big deal out of the fact that she is her father or the whole "father" theme of Liara at all. They just added it more as a little sidenote for the Liara Fans into the SB Base.

Neither do i, just hoping she were. In fact, it might even be best left as a mystery. More intrigueing that way.
