What I wanted to know is if it would be very difficult to make an adjustment to an existing mod. I downloaded Awakening in the OC from the Nexus, and I want to lower the level requirements for Battlemage. It's not that I want to make the game easier, it's just that RP-wise, my character is more of a BM than an AW. The author of the mod refuses to change it, and I don't want to distrubute any changes I make. I just want to be a battlemage. *sob*
Would anyone be willing to point me in the right direction with this?

you need to open up his CLA_base.gda and change the minlevel column to what you want.
In most cases you can't do anything if the author is against you, but since this is a matter of changing custom content rather then a module your lucky.
