Just a random question... Are the weekly prompts dead now?

If you did the prompts again, I might try to participate this time around.  I got into a real writing funk for a time there where I couldn't produce any type of meaningful fic.   I believe that is over and done with now and all my writing juices be a flowing once again.

Sounds good!  I didn't participate last time so you'll have to school me on how all this works.

And another thing I've been wondering about...  What do y'all think we are going to get as the cameo in DA2?  I'm wishing for something awesome but am trying to prepare for something mediocre.

Yess yess definitely! I have a feeling I've been drawing way too little Nate lately what with all the Anders/Ines sidetrack and all. That piece up there was to make up for it. And it's Friday too! Doooo eeeettt!

I am!  I sort of was in denial (oh the shame of fanfic!) when I made my ffnet author name and was trying to hide my identity.  Now I don't want to change it to Tasmen because I feel I've stuck with NuitNuit for so long it wasn't worth it.

By the sounds of what I read in a preview article somewhere... "Nathaniel Howe will appear in and around Kirkwall at some point" I have a hunch that there'll be a quest concerning him, he might even be a temporary companion, but that's maybe wishful thinking XD But the closer we're getting to the release date of DA2, the more it seems like Awakening isn't just a random expansion but actually a bridge between Origins and DA2, so it kinda makes sense that the characters from Awakening will play roles in DA2 as well.

I just really hope that there'll be more than just a random encounter with him. But, as Hawke hasn't met him before, I'm betting there's going to be more to it than just a quick chat. I'm not really expecting him to carry over as a full team member, not at this point, but it would still be awesome if he'd hang around for a bit. *sigh*

But what with the 10 year time span and all I'm hoping for the possibility of temporary companions - I've gathered that even the permanent companions will be leaving and returning. Kind of makes sense anyway. Take Anders, for instance - he'd have to go away for Awakening.

Also, David Gaider has said that if they want to ignore the epilogue slides, they will.  Soooo, all those people who killed people off might find they didn't die after all

My rule is this - if I didn't see a decap - they didn't die.

It would be good if DA2 took into account the epilogue ending you got and acknowledged if a companion died, but then again, neither Nate or Anders ever die in my games so it's irrelevant to me. Bring them on as companions! At least temporary.
