I can hear the Nate fanhearts cracking. This guy in the video below (Spoiler alert) just looks like the guy seen above: a random character.
Sorry.

But I'm still hoping Nate shows up at some part of the game, hopefully as a comrade, or at least as a quest character.

So even if you do see Nate, I don't expect it to look like him. They changed Isabella to someone completely unrecognizable. I wonder if Mika Simmons is doing her voice for DA2? At least she went from Scary Drag Queen to Sexy Pirate Queen.

I saw a pic of Sebastian (who looks a lot like Nate from what i recall). I bet that pic is of Sebastian. I suppose he can still make a cameo but *shrug* Anders doesn't look like Anders to me from the clip I saw nor did he sound like Anders. As he had only one line in the clip though it could still be Mr. Ellis. I didn't know he did Felix deGrosbois and (is it Matthew?) the little girl's daddy in the Shale DLC till his voice cracks when you encounter him.

Greg Ellis is all over DA:O - he's also the Ash Warrior leader and (I think) Levi Dryden. Plus many more I'm sure. I think they must lock him the booth and throw scripts at him until he drops.
Oh well, perhaps we may be better off with no Nate in DA2...did that sound convincing? I didn't even convince myself with that.

Speaking of Sebastian, HORROR! I walked past the GameStop I preordered my game from, and figured I could go and pay off the rest of the game now that I'm not actually wondering every second where to get my next meal (ahhhh student life
"-insert real name-?"
"Yes?"
"Well, this only says you've reserved Assassin's Creed"
"Whatthhhaaaa I don't even PLAY that game?!"
-FFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-
So turns out the girl who took my preorder had apparently "accidentally" reserved a whole different game for me X_X They said I'll still get my collector's edition b/c there are always people who don't come and get their preorders... But now do I have to wait until a certain moment or will they dare give it to me then when I show up? I don't want to wait for a week because a shop clerk messed up! Nuuuuuu!

Lol
Well, I paid for the rest of the price today and I didn't get any discount... But they had damn well better have written the thing down somewhere so when I go down there in March they won't go like "but it says you ordered the normal version a month ago here" X_X
Well, I'll just start thinking about the prompt then XD Something nicer pls.

Aaaaanyway... *tries to tear her eyes off that* I'm just afraid that because he was all "my time in the Free Marches wasn't spent chasing skirts and drinking wine" it might be that... *glp* Awwwww, I'm not sure, it just might be slightly OOC for him to get into something with Hawke. Well, we'll see.

(Who would preorder Assassin's Creed anyway, it's been published months ago! Good game though...)
How nerdy am I. I just left a party early just to see if there's more Nate here

Firsts.
.........
"All of them?" It seemed so, unreal. The Couslands dead by his father's hand. Even if they were traitors, their families had been close for so long. It can't have been an easy decision to make, no matter what the provocation.
"I heard tell that the children both got away. The youngest one, the girl, she's the Hero of Ferelden. Stopped the Blight and killed that Loghain."
"What!?"
Joab took a step away from the bar and his suddenly very threatening customer. "Sorry ser, I didn't mean nothing by it. Just repeating what I heard."
Briana killed Loghain? That must mean she was the one responsible for his father's death. His family's disgrace. Swallowing his anger the best he could, Nate tried to make his expression neutral. "Where did you hear it?"
Hoping his customer wasn't angry at him, Joab cleared his throat. "The Vigil guards, ser, and those Grey Wardens. They come in here to drink sometimes and they talk. What they've been saying is that this Cousland wench is the new Commander of the Grey. She's supposed to be coming here to take over things, you know, be the Arl and such."
"The Arl." Not only alive but rewarded for her crimes. Rewarded with his family's home and position.
He'd come home to find out what had happened to his family. Avenge them if he could. It seemed his revenge now included killing someone he'd once considered a friend. If a rather annoying, very young, friend.
Nate had never killed a friend before. It would be a first for him.
. . .
Briana hated Amaranthine. Hated it with passion. Not just because it was cold and bleak but also because it reminded her too much of Rendon Howe. The snake.
Now she'd have to spend Maker knew how long sleeping in his home, using his possessions, looking at his family portraits. Horrible.
"Are you well Commander?"
"Fine. Thank you." Quickening her pace, Briana hoped her guide would forget her odd behaviour. What normal woman mutters to herself when she had a perfectly good companion to talk to? One who was used to travelling alone or with a hound. Not this journey unfortunately, this time she'd had to leave Nathaniel in Denerim to breed.
Distracted by that thought and the very inappropriate humour it brought to mind, Briana coughed. He was probably dead. Nathaniel Howe. Fergus hadn't known his fate and hadn't had any luck trying to find out. They'd been such good friends before Nate had left for the Free Marches, got up to all sorts of mischief together. They'd both of them been so patient with her wanting to follow them about. Asking questions and pestering them. Wanting to go hunting when she'd hardly been big enough to lift an arrow, let alone a sword.
Briana could remember the last time she'd seen Nate. Watching his ship pull away from the dock in Amaranthine. She'd hated it here ever since.
Forcing her thoughts into a more cheerful path, she recalled the day she'd seen her first Mabari. Nate and Fergus had, allowed, her, after much coaxing, to go with them to the kennels in Highever. She'd fallen in love at first glance. Beautiful, beautiful animals. They'd teased her about it mercilessly of course. Again clearing the laugh from her throat Briana wondered what Nate would think if he knew that she had a Mabari of her own now. One she'd named in his honour.
It had seemed the least she could do after all their teasing. She'd promised herself if she ever got another she'd name it Fergus. Unfortunately her first Mabari was also her only.
. . .
"Idiot. Stupid, stupid, idiot." Alone since the guards had run out, leaving him locked the cell and unguarded, Nate was finally able to vent his anger. He'd been so sure he could get in without being caught. "Stupid."
These weren't ordinary soldiers, but wardens. Sneering he gave into the urge and kicked the cell door. Wardens. Curse their souls to rot in the Fade.
It was some comfort that most of them seemed to have been killed by the darkspawn.
That thought stopped him mid step. No. That was dishonourable and cowardly. It wasn't any comfort that they'd faced slaughter, or worse, at the hands of those things. None.
Hearing the guard returning he dropped back to sit on the floor.
"Commander's coming to see you. You'll be finding yourself hanged before the day's out, I'll wager."
If that was his fate, so be it. Sentenced to death by a child he'd once sat on his knee.
When the door opened, the guard straightened and walked towards the two who'd come in. A mage and a woman. This was Briana? Watching her talk to the guard he could see nothing of the child he remembered. After nodding to the guard she came to stand at the cell door and looked in at him. Her eyes widened, then narrowed.
Nate didn't know her, he refused to know her. Getting to his feet he walked closer and looked her over. No, he didn't know this woman, his father's murderer, this was the first time they'd met.
(Oh, I think my logic and timelines might be a bit messed up, but, eh, its out of my system now ;-) )
