Whee we're still alive! And I'm alive... Uh. At least a bit. To celebrate that, to those of you who haven't seen Nate in a white armour yet (only figuratively speaking), Off duty, (oh and not posting the picture here because this is slightly NSFW if your boss thinks drunkenness and nipples are inapproriate etc) because I felt like drawing something silly and very warm-up-y... uh... is that even a word?

Hmmh, I may be a bit confused, what with all the just having finished Mass Effect. Hoo boy. (yeah I know - how lame is it that it took me this long?)

(That's from memory btw and he may not actually say Darkspawn but I always say it).

To sate my curiosity, and not to take hints or anything, what facial hair do you people prefer on Nate? The Awakening one or DA2?

@KoP - DA2 for me - I'm not a fan of that style of chin warmer.

I need to tell you guys - I've discovered the reason Nate's voice is hoarse in Chapter (Act/Part) 3.  I did the quest from the Suspicious Lady in the Hanged man in C(A/P) 1 and eavesdropped on the conspirators before fighting.  One of them is Nate!  I swear it is.  Exactly the right tone and ryhthmn.  So, obviously when he meets Hawke in C (A/P) 3 he's all:

"Gah!  Champion!  Gah! Anders!  Think quickly Howe, what do we do?  I know!" *Disguises voice*

Mystery solved.  He's consipring to rob Amaranthine vessels, that's all...oh. Wait a sec.

So this means his voice is a bit different during his cameo? Interesting...

Not that I'm the one to give you advice on that, but I prefer his look in DA2.

He is.  iirc someone asked David Gaider to clarify, and he said Nate was 30 during Awakenings and that he is the oldest

@KoP- I prefer the chin warmer. He doesn't look like Nate without it. He did, however, get some nice plastic surgery before DA2 so he looks a ton better and less....5 pack a day smoker. But I'll take him however I can get him, even if that's blind and feeble.

@Anni- That pic is awesome! Avilia is right, Nate and Anders seem quite taken with each other. Fenris, on the other hand, is quite taken with the back of Hawke's head.
