So, fellow Brooders, do we think that the undercurrent of Grey Wardeny secrets in DA2 might foreshadow a return of our favourite Howe?

Or do we think the worst and that the cameo is the last we'll see of him?

I really want to believe that we are gearing up to seeing more Nathaniel in DA3.  I really want to believe maybe we'll finally be able to get into his pants without the aid of nudie mod.  However, I am preparing myself that none of the above will happen

I am really hoping we will see him again. The whole GW mission seems mysterious and important, so it looks like there could be a role for him to fill.
 
BUT, then we have to hear all the people complain "I HATE him! I kill him in every playthrough! Are you telling me my choices don't matter, Bioware?". I don't understand why he isn't more popular. He doesn't even have a DA2 thread.

You realize, there is no reason we cannot START a da2 thread.  He was in DA2 after all.

Very true.  The fact that his quest only triggers if you recruited him and he survived Vigil's Keep seems to say we won't see him again.  Unless its another cameo.  Which is real shame imho - he has the potential to be a very interesting character (er, not that I'm biased or anything ).

Oh well.  They could still do it - if Anders/Leliana/Zevran can come back from the dead why can't Nate?

I noticed a lot of threads assuming the OGB is canon - I say we assume live, recruited and pant-less Nate is canon from now on!

It would make sense to have a thread over there anyway given we talk about about da2 spoilers in here.  Would make us more rules compliant (yep yep).
