A quick sketch, will sketch out properly with pencil when I get home.  The convo was getting too much for her, she couldn't bring herself to admit her feelings for him so she walks away only to be stopped by Nathanial.

I think you should finish this off!  *glances up at avatar* But get rid of her bangs, and maybe put a purple tattoo around her right eye.  Yes, I think that will finish it off nicely.  Oh!  And give her black hair.

Hell yeah! I <3 Nate's rage face.I mean,I like his smiley face too,but it looks a teeny bit creepy at times.Like every time he does it,someone in Thedas eats a puppy.Or something.

And most of my drawing inspiration strikes me in the middle of the night.

Early morning definitely IS the best time!  When I used to draw, all by best stuff was done after 1am

While I agree with you,my body doesn't.I fell asleep on the bus the other day on my way home from College.Nearly missed my stop.

My Arcane Warrior loves Rogues! Especially ones like Nathaniel Howe. He's got Deft Hands! Also, in the course of his training he's traveled a lot, and has picked up an extra language or two. Everyone loves a Cunning linguist. And he has such noble features... those Roman hands and Russian fingers...l.

Don't you just love watching him whip out his bow? A few well-placed piercing shots from Nathaniel makes any fight more fun! And when he does it from behind, it's even better. And of course, he's a Rogue, so he wears his studded leather quite well.

I can go on about Nathaniel all day.

I think Howe definately would have tried to set F!Cousland up with Nathaniel rather than Thomas had he not been sent to the Free Marches.

I also think from certain angles Nathaniel looks like he could be Loghain's son,but I doubt it.

It was common in medieval households to send sons out to squire.  I don't read Nathaniel as being a rebellious child, though- Delilah talks about him idolizing his father.  I see him as trying desperately to please a father who didn't think much of him or even think about him at all in the end.  Another reason I wonder about whether he could be a bastard is what he tells you about Rendon hating his wife.  She could have just been a b*tch, of course, and it seems she was, but being cuckolded would also make a man cranky.

I see Nate's childhood relationship with his dad as a love-hate kinda thing.While to me he definately does seem like the type to idolise his father even without Delilah saying that,I can also picture Nate resenting his father as well.I'm guessing Rendon would have put a lot of pressure on Nathaniel for being the oldest of his kids and would have expected a lot from him from an early age.And whatever his reasons for hating his wife,while I don't think he'd make his hatred of her known to his children,I doubt he'd be able to fully hide it,either.

The more you hear about the Howe family, the more you realize how dysfunctional it was. Nate idolized Rendon, but obviously Rendon didn't give a crap and sent him away. Rendon and Mommy Howe hated each other, and Thomas was a drunk. No wonder Delilah ran off to marry a commoner, I cna't blame her! She seems like she was actually normal and nice.
