See, and I'm in the boat that he could swing both ways. IMHO I could see Nate not having experiences with men in the past but wouldn't be opposed to any if he found the "right" guy. Mostly I'm basing this off of his convo with Oghren, where Nate almost seems flattered that Oghren thinks of him as "quiet and stoic".

I didn't take that conversation like that at all....I saw it more as Nate saw an opportunity and ran with it to make fun of Oghren.  In most of Nathaniel's banter, I see him sneakily making fun of people....in the kind of way that you don't realize it at first.

I think Nate's straight but just very tolerant.  He seems amused by Oghren's comment and teasing him a little about it.

You're right.  Thinking about it more, it did sound more like Nate was just going along with the idea of Oghren having a crush on him and teasing him about it than Nate actually liking the idea of Oghren finding him attractive.

Speaking of Mr "Goddamn-I-Can't-Romance-Him-He-Must-Be-Gay" himself,quite a few fellow Nate lovers over at dA think that if Nate was infact romanceable in Awakening,that he would have been available for both genders.Now,I love well-written bisexual romances,but Nathaniel? Sorry,but I can't see it.

The RP possibilites were the first thing I noticed when I started playing, which was great. I was sitting there, hacking my way through darkspawn going, "I can be anything!" Now of course my mind is overrun with Riordan/Nathaniel smut, which makes it impossible to think properly, but I'll have my background soon. Hopefully.

According to the toolset he's thirty. So the same as Nate.

The toolset also puts the parents at 40, though, although given his son is at least eight imo then that might work. He certainly can't be any older as he was born after the Orlesian occupation, right?

I imagine he was born a year or two after the occupation, so thirty would be about right in that case. Give or take a few years.

I found out that my Orlesian Warden play through was bugged beyond repair.  So, I ended up deleting her and starting over.  Poor me.  I have to spend more time with Nathaniel.

That's strange, my imported characters were bugged but never my Orlesian. What was wrong with her?

It was the final battle to save Vigil's Keep. I finished killing all the children at the East Wall and the quest arrow never came up to kill the Ogre at the gate. I restarted the final battle both pre and post 1.04 and still no joy. I also went back and finished a couple of quests I had hanging about just in case, started the final battle, and the darn thing didn't trigger then either. I was stuck unless I went back to a previous save and saved Ameranthine. So, I'm trying it again with a brand new OW. Hopefully the new patch will correct whatever was wrong with that last game.
