I have that habit too! I loved it when I managed to get Anders to admit that he wasn't a man of the outdoors and then Nate replied that he loved the outdoors. Those two.. <3Avilia wrote...
I've gotten into the habit of clicking on my followers whenever we stand still for two seconds. Just to see what they'll say. That's when Nate says that. None of them seem particularly fond of all the walking ;-)

Hmmm, I'll have to try the Adria part with no Nate present next time.
On another note: remember to get rid of the Nathalistair override when starting Awakening.
Hi fellow de-lurker! *waves* If it fits my Warden, I always try and let Nate go as well. I love watching him be so earnest later in his attempt at setting things right for his family. Plus I have a thing about stray puppies.StaticBlue wrote...

So, I'm curious. Who here has ever NOT recruited Nathaniel right away? Because it's *great* when he finally comes looking for you. x]
Oghren and Anders do have the best lines when recruiting Nate. All Justice does is tell you what a poor choice it is to accept him and Velanna just says that she finds it interesting. Sigrun doesn't say anything, strangely enough.StaticBlue wrote...
If you haven't done it, do it, and bring Anders and Oghren with you, their dialogue is great! c:
Yeah, it was freaky! I kept thinking, "Nate.. babe.. you're.. 'cheery'.. STOP IT!"phaonica wrote...
Haha! I did this the other day on accident too. I'd forgotten the override was still in there, and suddenly I was listening to King Nate and

I don't see this as a bad thing....I say, change all heads to Nate, and then Origins will be a romp through an army of Nates! GLORIOUS!

See now you've said it I'm going to try to do it. Success not assured however.

Oh, can you please relate the dialog? I didn't even know that he'll come back if you let him go.

Nate: Wait. I want to talk to you.
Anders: Don't look now, but I think the bird's come flying back.
Oghren: Careful. This one might go all Zevran on you.
Nate: You set me free. Just let me go, despite what I said or what I might do. I want to know why.
PC (one of many choices): What you do now is your own responsibility.
Nate: I see. Take me with you. Make me a Grey Warden.
PC (one of many choices): It's not that easy, Nathaniel.
Nate: I have nowhere to go. I fully expected to die in there, maybe I even wanted to. But you let me go. Make me a Grey Warden. Let me try. Please.
PC (one of many choices): Why should I ever trust you?
Nate: You probably shouldn't. I just... I have to try. I have to do something.
PC (one of many choices): You think this will redeem your name, do you?
Nate: I don't know. Maybe that's not even important. Maybe it's more important that I do my part to face the darkspawn. Maybe that's what my father should have done.
PC (one of many choices): Very well. We'll see how you do with the Joining.
Anders: In your future, I sense a knife in the back. Just saying.
Oghren: So we just let anyone into this outfit, huh?
Nate: Nothing to fear.

It happens the second time you leave the Keep. :]A71C3 wrote...
