Any way the point is I just read a fanfiction and 40 pages of Nate love and I really want to play Awakenings now on my PC. I thought I preferred Anders but 40 pages later I may need to rethink myself.

I've written a couple of Nate-centric fanfics (and am still writing one) so if you are interested, the link to my ff.net author page is:

I don't know which author frostajulie was reading, or I'd point you to that.  There are some excellent Nate fanfics on ff.net, though, so you can always do a search on him in the dragon age group.

EDIT:  I am in no way saying that my fanfic is any good, just to clarify.  I just wanted to point out where it is in case someone wants to risk reading it.

I was looking for a suitably broody picture to post when I came across this one. Slight OT to brooding really as it contains a hug. But. It made me go 'aw'. You may not be able to see it here but Anders looks like he's picturing himself getting the next hug from Delilah and my PC almost has a smile on her face. I like to imagine she's thinking "oooh he's nice isn't he? I didn't know he was nice. And sweet. Hugging his sister."

Oh, you're welcome! I actually just finished Choices. Great job, btw.  Another clever move making everyone's favourite assassin responsible for a certain Bann's death. I always wondered how that came to be when I first read the epilogue card.  A bummer about Velanna though (does no one like her?).  I look forward to reading "Interesting Places" in the future.

She comes off well in 'From dirt 2: From death to life' but it's a Nathaniel/Velanna story with a psycho Warden.

 In my defense, I didn't actually think Nate/Velanna would tempt a Nate fangirl. He has the POV half the time and there's a lot of introspection and character development on his part, though. Although CE Warden really, really disturbs me. She's like the epitome of not handling things well although I guess given how From Dirt ended...

Maybe I should be posting this in your elf topic but I'll just write it here...
I guess I'm just one of those rare Awakening players that actually liked having Velanna around. Her behavior, angry and unreasonable at times, isn't without its reasons. I pity her, because it's really obvious how ignorant she is. It did strike me as odd that Nathaniel had the hots for her but hey, he was a human noble. It seems like they all have a thing for elves.
