It could work, he is with you for a while, and then he hears about how his dad got killed by the warden and leaves.
Once again he escapes the wiles of the female players.

Nate with Teagan's voice? I wonder if the universe could handle that. It would be cool if you could find a NPC also voiced by Simon Chadwick and put Nate's head on it. I know he did additional voices in Origins. So far, I suspect he voiced one of the NPCs in Ostagar, but that's too brief.Avilia wrote...
On my current Origins playthrough I am valiantly resisting the urge to mod Nate's head in somewhere. I wonder which npc would look best with Nate's head....Bann Teagan?
I'll definitely ask "Which way to Edmonton?" when I get to Canada... someday, I hope.Giggles_Manically wrote...

Not sure if this has been posted in here yet, but I think it's my favorite Nate art ever. MaevesChild's "Let me love you":
*Lady_Scarlett has a feeling she has seen this somewhere before. She remembers Fire and Brigan from Kristin Cashore's Fire, and remembers more now that she's re-reading the stupid book (for her seventh time) as she's playing Awakening again that if Nathaniel just did turn out to be someone else's son (more speakably, Loghain's son), she could say that Brigan and Nate are *TWIN!* brothers that were just thrown in two different worlds.*
Wha?! 'Tis true I tell you. Brigan has the same coloring as Nate and all, and he's described not as not handsome, and turns out not to be who's you think he is (the former king in this case) but the son of a former general. He's also level-headed and practical. Sound familiar?

I have faith in Bioware - fellow members of the Commonwealth won't let me down...will they?

I forgot something. Brigan has a daughter (crap!) Oh well. Close enough.
Now you watch, we're going to learn in DA2 Nate has a secret kid too, just to screw with me and and possible others that read the stupid book.

I was thinking of Teagan because he has a nice VA and you don't have to kill him. I did have an evil thought but no, I couldn't do that. You guys would have me hunted down and ritually dismembered if I put Nate's head on his daddy.

Yes, we would probably, and it wouldn't be any quick, clean death either I imagine,

A question regarding the Silverite Mines...when the Warden and his/her companions encounter the first ghoul that's stolen their equipment ,does Nathaniel have a response? I've heard Sigrun's and Oghren's and I was just wondering if Nate had one.

Okay, so on my second Warden in DAOA, I took Nate with me down into the Keep basement (I didn't the first time through) and I saw Adria (or whatever her name was). After the slight build up with him being determined (and pleading to the Warden) to find her... talk about a missed opportunity. =/

I hated BioWare for DA:O-A... that stupid game was just a tease for us... couldn't even get proper companion dialogues!
But I had to love them for it too... WHY!?!?!?!?!?

While I was at it, I also recorded a couple Nate videos:
Nate talking about his GW grandfather. God what a sexy voice. Anyway, this really does contradict the codex, since we have both Tarleton and Padric Howe being described as Nate's grandpa. Unless Rendon married a cousin and his wife was also a Howe???
Nate in the Blackmarsh. Little boy dreams.

Imagination of dialogue with Warden VS. Velanna:

(Dalish Warden)
Warden: You know, I don't share.
Velanna: I don't share either.
Warden: (Singsong voice) He's mine.
Velanna: Hmm? Who are we talking about so possesively, like the child you so are?
Warden: You know exactly who I'm talking about, tree-hugger.
Velanna: Oooh, tree-hugger. Aren't you talking about yourself as well?
Warden: Sorry, clown-ears. Forgot to use a more accurate description.

Velanna: Oooh, tree-hugger. I'm so very scared.
Warden: You should be.
-------------
(Mage Warden)
Velanna: I bet my fireballs are bigger then yours.
Warden: Yes, you'd want balls to begin with.
Velanna: You seem to be missing my point, city-scum. I have more power. I could just snap my fingers and make you run for the hills. And I wouldn't have to share.
Warden: City-scum? Really? And who's being the possesive child now?
OR
(Any other Warden)
Velanna: I bet my fireballs are better then any skill with your weapons you possess.
