Heh, oh and my PC did have a pretty big nose.  I tend to make nose-alicious PCs, and this one, well... maybe it was subconsciously with Nate in mind.  They'll figure out the right angles to make the smoochy work!



Seeing this makes me want to replay her game.  Awakening goes by too fast.

I'm just running Awakenings again with an Orlesian warden (see if I can finish this time) and I had a thought.



During the Nobles fealty ceremony when Anders tells you to chat to Ser Tamra. It would have been an interesting twist if Nate was caught up in the conspiracy. Not as a participant but perhaps if the nobles tried to get him on board or something.



Oh well - that would have taken a much much longer game I suppose.

Yeah, what Bruddajakka said.  It's the blackblade tunic, I believe (I didn't get this screenshot, I'm afraid, but I have put it on Nathaniel before.  )

What can I say?  The man makes wearing black a fashion statement.

I had the same reaction!  My first tim through Awakening was a HNF, and when I found out who he was I was all "You're WHO!??!?  YOU &@#($@@@$*!!!!"  But then he kept talking and I got all drooly and swoony

Anyway here is my (hasty and very crappy) prompt response. Sorry it ends abrutly, but doing anything short fries my brain because I have to chop it up because I write way too much for my own good. And I really couldn't think of much for 'nose'.



PROMPT I:

“What’s wrong with your nose, Howe?”

“What?”

“Your nose. It looks like it was broken. There must be a story behind that.” Kaye heard Anders insist. Nathaniel just glanced at the mage without much care. His look was easy to read: Why did he want to know? Wasn’t there more pressing matters to be concerned with? Like darkspawn?

Commander Kayeren had also pressed this question before as well. He had told her he had simple been born with his nose like that, and left it there. She was almost glad there hadn’t been a story
about it.

“I always thought my nose was like this.” Nathaniel replied to the mage.

Anders sighed. “Fine, be that way. Don’t share this juicy little tidbit. I bet a scrawny little girl or something broke it and you’re all embarrassed.” Kaye’s mouth twitched as she continued to watch the situation, her elven eyes flicking between the two.

“Don’t you have something better to do, like go feed Ser-Pounce-A-Lot? Or go bother the Commander with you’re pointless questions?” Nathaniel said.

“Fine, fine. I see when I’m unwanted. I’ll be back though.” Anders said, sulking off with his lower lip sticking out like he was three years old.

It was only three hours later when the mage was back again, pestering away. The elf winked at Nathaniel as she passed by him, watching Anders pester him. He glared back at her, and she saw him whisper something to Anders.

“Alright, I’ll tell you. But the Commander also has to listen.” He said loudly. Kaye froze in her tracks, spinning around in a whirlwind of black curls.

“No, I don’t.” She replied, absolutely horrified. She had already asked this question once, and didn’t want the particulars of it.

“Oh, come now. It’ll be fun.” Nathaniel replied. “And maybe Anders will find someone else to bother.”  He mouthed to her. Kaye’s green eyes narrowed, for once resembling acid and not leaves with weak sunlight streaming through them, but she nodded and walked over, sitting down on the ground with her back against a wall, the new picture she had hung up after she had taken down his mother’s portrait at his request directly over her head. With her glare, the tattoos of vines on her forehead that went to the tip of her nose seemed to make her look ferocious and wild, but she held her ground.

“Well, it all began with the fact my father and my mother loved each other so much—“ Nathaniel began.

“Gods, I DO NOT want to hear this.” Kaye said, swearing and covering her pointed ears and starting to get up and walk away, already done.

Anders, on the other hand, seemed to be grinning suddenly. “Oh, come on Commander. Please stay.” The mage made a pitiful face, and Kaye, annoyed, sat back down.

“I thought you said your parents hated each other, or at least that’s what I heard you telling the Commander.” Anders continued.

“Hush, Anders. It’s story time,” Nathaniel said, “but my parents loved each other so much one night that-.”

Immediately, she covered her ears. “La-la-la-la-la,” she sang, blushing. This was not the conversation you had in front of a woman. But she wasn’t loud enough.

“Well, let’s just say the nose came from a long line of Howes before the Commander here figures out a way to make herself combust suddenly.” Nathaniel said, nudging Kaye with the tip of his foot. She glared at him, before pulling her hands away from her pointed ears slowly.

“Really? I find that one hard to believe. Maybe they had so much love that-.” Anders began.

“GODS ABOVE! Shut it! I do not want to hear about humans making more little humans who will make more humans and so on. I understand now that you both hate me and will do anything for me to just exterminate myself, but not in this way! PLEASE!” The Dalish woman cried, throwing herself onto her stomach as she begged, her face a burning scarlet at the fact the two had been talking like they had.

She heard Nathaniel laughing. But then Kaye could guess she was probably amusing, throwing herself on the ground and looking like she was about to bawl like a child. She heard Anders start laughing as well.

“Well, I guess I got my story and the Commander crying.” Anders said.

“Better give me a straight answer next time I ask personal questions about you, mage.” Nathaniel replied, laughter on his voice.

“Oh, you can count on it. You’ve won the bet. ” The mage still laughed as he walked off.
 




(Ooo, this sucked! Very BAD brain... couldn't invent anything... I'm a gonna go die in a corner now, bye bye!)

Its not flirting its.....light hearted banter, yes, banter.  He's just being polite and stuff....

Oh sorry - Blackblade tunic is in the chest in the experiment area of the Architect's room.  You need a mod if you're on pc for the boots and gloves - the drop is bugged.
