Seriously, the whole "Cousland/Nathaniel but Couldna loves Alistair but omg Nathaniel" situation has made me wish I could write in ways I can not describe.  But if I wrote the story, it would be like this:

'Mel Cousland was thinking "I miss Alistair" when Nathaniel walked in and said "Hi, remember me?  I'm sexy."  Mel then thought, I love Alistair, but he's sexy.  Whatever will I do?  Then makeouts ensued.  Suddenly, darkspawn attacked, and Mel and Nathaniel had to fight them.'

I seriosuly have a problem with language and stuff.

I dunno, works for me.  Its concise and not too purple.  ;-)

And a quick update on the progress of my cousland & Nate sketch before I go to bed.   I was going to resketch it in pencil because it's tough sketching in photoshop but I've gone straight to the colouring instead.  I'm impaitent!!!

See, this si the problem.  I had the same discussion with Lady D about this.  she could also see it if the PC was not involved with Alistair....maybe.  But if the PC is involved with Alistair, and there was a Nate temptation, then there is more drama!  Drama makes good stories!!!  I really can't be the only person out there that thinks this love triangle could be filled with lust, anger, betrayal, regret, and your obligatory angst.

But...but...angst makes me cry...have you read my VERY very short piece, Echoes? OMG I was CRYING as I wrote that!  Silly I know but I immerse myself when I draw or write or I really don't like the result.

Maybe if the PC isn't married to Al...but adultery of a Queen is treason.  Thats what got Anne's head removed from her shoulders.

But maybe Eamon could use this opportunity to tell Alistair to divorce PC and remarry to a non-warden so that there will be a chance of an heir. Eamon has struck me as someone who is more concerned with preserving the Theirin line than Alistair's feelings. Meanwhile, PC goes into exile (self-exile maybe?) from Denerim at least... which would explain the solo disappearance in the epilogue if she were queen.

Is this a good idea for a fic?
