So how does Nate respond if you sentence him to death?? I guess I should F5 F9 to find out, but... somehow I can't. I feel like a puppy must die somewhere every time I'm mean to my favorite NPCs.

I did it once (for testing) and Varel read him his death sentence and Nate seemed pretty cool about it. I don't remember if he said anything special, but he didn't seemed to upset.

But like I said, I don't recall very well.

The same sort of people who'd kill the Dog at Ostagar.  There's no accounting for some people Cal, they're just strange....

All I can say is...

For the sake of knowledge or not, it is not humane! There are only so many Nates left! If you keep killing them, they'll go extinct! And we don't want that... Too many people would cry!

Crap I sound like my cousin. Which is not a good thing. She's very annoying and can seriously make you consider suicide being the only way out so you don't have to listen to her. She's very loud and way too... green, catch my meaning.

No, the guard just takes Nate away after Varel reads him his sentence and then the cutscene ends.

Oh,and while we're still on the subject,I've sentanced Nate to death on one occasion simply for the purpose of curiosity.He really doesn't seem fazed by it.

I must admit I tried the option - tried to conscript him and when he objected and said he'd rather hang, I said OK then. When he's taken away he says "do your worst."

Of course I reloaded! I actually just wanted to see what would happen - if he would then say, OK, I'll be a warden, or whatever, but no...once you say OK hang him then, Varel reads out the sentence and off he goes.



Nice Riordan piccy. He seems to be missing his nipples though.

If you execute Nate right away, at least he never finds out what his father did and dies thinking he was a good man.    Not much solace.

Include this rule in books as well. A few of my favorite characters in books have done this. Except Fell... he "died" right in front of us and then turned back up as a major antagonist because he got brainwashed... *sigh*

Do it, do it, do it   Come on, if it took four wardens to subdue him, those keep guards have no hope.  They're a bunch of wimps - look how they run off during the first incursion.

This is actually very feasible. The only thing is that Nate doesn't seem to want to run away at the point where he realizes he's to be executed.

But... it's possible he decided to give the Warden and Varel the finger at the last moment and broke free. Very possible...
