Its a little known fact that leaving Nate to defend the Keep will cause your game to crash repeatedly. This bug can only be fixed by including him in every mission. True story...would I lie?

Does that still happen if you leave him at the Keep only to immediately return once you hear that Amaranthine is having problems? Seeing how thrilled he is to see you might make it worth the risk...

Hmm /ponders...that is a very short timeline and the software will know you intend going back for him.  Yes, yes, might be enough.

Edit for ToP - again I tried DeviantArt but it still hates me.  So instead fellow brooders, a recycled shot:

:o

So that's why my game was crashing? The Nate conspired with the programmers to include this bug in the game?

And will the game crash repeatedly as well if you allow his execution?

No, the good news is that this bug is only caused by abandoning Nate at the Keep.

Execution will cause your game to shut down.  Your hard drive will then start an automatic reformatting routine.  Unfortunately there's no fix for this bug that we know of that this time Posted Image

Is there any hope if Nate escapes and goes back to Kirkwall where he can hang out with people who obviously appreciate him better?

Hmm, the programmers at Bioware must be die hard Nate fans it seems. A good thing the suggested fix isn't a problem to implement at all!

But I suppose this is a fair warning to everyone else:

The 'escape' state exits the if loop and takes you to a new routine.

if nate = escapes then
value = kirkwall
andif hawke = female then
value = cuddletime

end if

Took the liberty to improve your alogrithm, Avila. Cuddletime sounds too innocent for F!Hawke.

Nate should always wear form-fitting trousers! Or a skirt!

The shorter the skirt, the better.  Especially if it's a dalish armor set ... mmm, legs.

Now, you know that's like sending me an engraved invitation...

Nate:  Er, Commander?
Buntie:  Yes Nathaniel
Nate:  Are you sure this is appropriate attire for a Grey Warden
Buntie:  Its standard issue
Nate:  I don't see anyone else wearing it.
Buntie: :police:

*Evil laughter*

Two: I'm lazy.

Here's my prompt response on FanFiction because I'm too lazy to fix it when I paste it here: www.fanfiction.net/s/6340123/1/Relations_A_Prompt_Response

EDIT: D'oh! I feel like a moron. I just realized I wrote Garevel's name wrong and called him Garaenhel. I ran a edit on the story, but it might take a bit to re-load and correct it.

Oooh I like it...evil Nate. Well not evil but threatening, in a good, I'm getting shivers way.

Why did I post that pic btw - you know how hard it is to view this page without it showing? I'll have HR visiting me about inappropriate websites if I'm not careful.

(On a completely unrelated and very OT note - they announced Duke Nukem Forever at PAX. With a release year and everything. That's like announcing a time when a pidgeon is going to pooh on your head - it doesn't happen. Am still in shock.)

I was also shocked when DNF was confirmed for next year. Sweet jesus, it's been what, 13 years in development? Well, "in development" might be a stretch, more like, work started in 1997 and then 3D Realms decided to spend all their time in strip clubs and playing WoW.

I'm glad Gearbox is working on it, those guys know how to make a good FPS. I don't think anything they do, no matter how good, will be able to live up to the unholy expectations most people had for the game (Yahtzee once said the game had to come up with the cure for cancer to be good), but it'll be great to simply see it for real.

Hmm, how would Nate react if he met the Duke in person?

That question requires a drawn response, unfortunately I have no artist skill whatsoever.

Instead:

Duke : Come get some.
Nate:  Some what?
Duke:  Some
Nate:  Some what?
Duke: Hail to the king baby
Nate:  Is Alistair here?
Duke: ....

(Best I can do at this time of the am)

You know, the worse I have in mind is my Elementalist I have already mentally created for GW2 crossing into the world of Dragon Age. I sound probably like a watered down freak that has no taste, but I've been in GW since Sept. 2005 and own all of the campaigns and the *1* expansion. Can't give up on it-- it's like my baby, and it's growing up and ANet is supposedly trying to bring RPG back to MMORPG, which the RPG element is why I'm there.

I've already decided she's going to be a charming little red-haired, brown-eyed bitc-- I mean street-rat fire oriented Ele. named Ruby. Yes, Nate would TOTALLY love her *sarcasm*.

I've also thought about putting her into Supernatural, but she'd get shot... Winchesters had a problem with someone named Ruby before... and with her shooting fire out of her hands and her anger issues... *Shakes head*

On a side note, I'm coming up with a prompt ('tis my turn next, is it not?) and I thought I was sure on Sunday (I actually dropped a hint to what I was thinking about on Friday) but since yesterday, I've been jammed... hmm...
