Well, finally my attempt then:



Nathaniel lay on his side, leaning on his elbow. He stared into the distance whilst his thoughts were drifting away. 'So, I'm back 'home' again for... 7 months now? Maker, time is really flying by. Would I have still been in the Marches otherwise? Hmm... I doubt father would have sent me word yet that he would have wanted me to return. If... no, stop thinking about that! Father has done horrible things and has been brought to justice for that... If only I would have known... but then what? Come back and yell at him for being a bad man? He wouldn't take me serious and probably sent me back right away... Delilah knew, and she couldn't do anything about it either. What about Thomas? Would he have known? Hmm... quite possible, he wasn't dense either.... Oh, of course he knew... Father seemed to favor him anyway... I wonder who father wanted to marry me off to, since he wanted Thomas to link with the Couslands... well, originally that is. I know he wouldn't have minded. Oh my, had that little brother of me a crush on lady Cousland... I think he wrote 'Cousland' at least thirty times per letter... But then again, I can't disagree with him. I'm sure she would have been a great sister-in-law. If that would have ever happened though... Thomas wasn't quite talented at wooing the ladies. Way too shy, even worse then I was at his age. Pff... hear me, like I'm prince charming...' He looked up as the first rays of sunshine pierced through the window and gave the room a soft golden glow. 'But I am a lucky man. I'm safe and sound back in my homeland, I have been given a chance to redeem my family name... and, please, don't let this be the last night that you want to warm my bed, my beautiful lady.' He smiled and placed a soft kiss on her hair.

 Uhh, I've been busy. Writing something big and long. I keep getting distracted by it when I'm trying to do prompts.









I really do need a better name for it, but all I have so far is:
"Lady_Scarlett's Insomnia on Drugs Including 2yrs-post Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening."

My female OC is fun-- she has freaky darkspawn eyes because... well, if I get it up, you'll see.

But my three OCs were screwed up. I original had a M!Caron and his wife (who is the major fenale OC *spoilercough*whowouldendupwithNateintheendcauseM!Carondies@thestart*cough,cough*) and their daughter Libby. Then one of my friends emailed me this right as I wrapped up the prologue:







Which made me alter my prologue and the three characters. M!Caron and my main female OC are now siblings (main female is also now a Warden who had fled the order and was in hiding-- which something with this new plot made me give her darkspawn eyes, as she originally had normal, brown human eyes). Libby nearly got trashed, but she was rescued from the garbage by a (highly moronic) idea for later on and is now a little girl the main female OC found (I'm sick of typing that. She's F!Caron from now on even though she's not Commander) when she was a baby and F!Caron started raising while she was in hiding.

I'll have it up soon, and it's going to have some very broody... I don't know what to call it... It's not fluff, but it's nowhere near blunt.
