Once you extract them, any morph can be used in Origins or Awakening. For the Origins face.erf file, it's the same folder direction, except it's core instead of core_ep1.

Damn...my core doesnt' have ep_1 in it...I must be missing something....(and yes i do have awakenings) or...maybe tis in the program files?  I am looking in documents...hang on...

Yeah, it's in the installation folder, not the Bioware folder on My Documents.

Just to be clear, you opened the face.erf file on the toolset, then right clicked on the morph you wanted and then selected the "extract resource" option?

yes. and it said 'file must be readable' and wouldn't open...and I couldnt' close toolset or anything it got stuck on that window. I had to right click it in the toolbar at the bottom and "close window" in order to exit the toolset

Hmm, the toolset does get freaky from time to time. I've never had that particular problem but I have had other issues. If you want I can upload the morphs for Nate and Anders somewhere for you to download them. It wouldn't be any problem.

And I'm not surprised the Leli hate thread has degenerated. But I'm sick to my stomach of the idiot who created it (he's been trolling the Leli thread and the DA2 forums for months), so I think I'll pass.

About the Nate/Cousland/Alistair love triangle...is the issue of the heir settled? Like Alistair had a son with a wife and then she conveniently died? If so then the decision might be harder but if not then she should probably keep in mind that she was dumped the first time for valid reasons and those reasons have not gone away.

I don't think Alistair having an heir would make a difference.  The real question is, what would it take for Cousland to trust Nathaniel.  His father killed your family, he comes to try to kill you, and then he's implicated in an assassination attempt on your former lover who wants you back (let's say he was framed REALLY well, the evidnece is pretty hard to discredit).

We, as players, know that he's trustworthy and redeemed himself (unless BW wants to really screw with us and thorw us a curveball).  But put yourself in the PC's shoes, what would it take for you to trust him in that situation?

How far into Awakenings are we talking? If its after the Mother is dead, the Cousland should know Nate well enough to trust him a little surely?



If its earlier - might be marginal. Depending on the evidence and who's giving it, could be tricky. If its Ali for instance "I saw him do it!!!", a former lover you'd spent a year or so travelling and fighting with, be hard to dismiss.



I also have the feeling that Nate might just be pig stubborn enough not to defend himself. Witness his conversation in the Keep cells. His word should be enough type stuff.

I completely agree that he would be too stubborn to defend himself.  "It wasn't me.  Don't believe me?  Fine.  Send me to the gallows then."   Nate, why are you so stubborn??

With tongue only slightly in cheek, I'd think Cousland would just keep picking dialogue options until the 'third way' revealed itself, and she got a lead to investigate the true assassin.

thanks zjarcal...that link didn't work but somehow I wrestled the toolset to the ground and beat it till I made it cooperate. I got the Anders/Nate morphs now yay!!

I think that whether or not Alistair having an heir matters depends on the PC. If it was one that was unhappy but understood why she couldn't be queen then the heir issue might matter quite a bit because otherwise she could have been happily married to Alistair this whole time or her Cousland nsense of duty might stop her from ensuring that Alistair won't have an heir by getting back involved with him. If it was a Cousland who thought heirs could simply be chosen from another noble family or thought that Alistair was being stupid to sacrifice what they had for the slight chance he could have a child then it wouldn't matter, no.
