Manny Calavera and Glottis from Grim Fandango

Hmm,

1. Jon Irenicus (Baldur's Gate 2) - best video game villain ever.

2. Neeska (NWN2) - A love her or hate her kinda character, methinks.

3. Guybrush Threepwood - Showing my age here... Monkey Island ftw!

I don't know... I felt indifferent to Neeshka. Like most NWN2 characters, she didn't stray very far from the archetype. There wasn't much there to make me hate or love her.

She kind of my secret Tali in that game. I owned it because she was the only rogue and I'm a loot lover. I kind of had her around. I made sure my character could persade her at the end of the game. I made her fight her demon blood to stay at my side. I really wish they had made a really good sequel to NWN2. That game was done very well. I was so made when I couldn't romance Neeshka, but I was at least satified with the ending for keeping her close to my stormlord. Image IPB

@Tooneyman...

I kept her around a lot too. I'm fond of tricky rogue types. She just didn't grow on me the way MotB's cast did. My issue with Neeshka, and really, most NWN2 characters is they all played strongly to type. That made them interesting enough to like them, but insufficient for me to find them outstanding. I thought Khelgar, Shandra, Ammon, and Bishop stole the lion's share of development, and as such, I ended up loving Khelgar and to a lesser extent Shandra and Ammon. Neeshka was a middle tier character for me. I liked her way more than say, Grobnar or Zhjaeve but that's it. Neeshka was like a lite version of Annah-of-the-Shadows to me. That said others dug her. :)

I really think its because she was a demon. I mean this is were I saw the potiental. Mostly because I haven't really scene many demon chicks in the games I've played where you can actually have them as friends or squadies. Now if DA:2 has a Demon female teammate. I just might start to lose my sights on my Neeshka. I also think it was the red hair and horns. Image IPB

I get that. I just thought Annah was a better character. She was the same as Neeshka. A red-headed tiefling thief with sass. She also had the benefit of a unique accent and it was possible to begin a relationship with her. Annah is actually from the same game I chose my favorite character from, in fact. Neeshka felt like a pale imitation in comparison. :/ I might feel differently if I never played Torment, but what's done is done.

I never heard of Annah. I'm going to go look her up now and find the game. This intrigues the Toon!Image IPB

She's a character from Planescape: Torment. The same game Fall-From-Grace (my character pick for this thread) is in. You most likely heard of it. The game is a bit of an acquired taste, but Annah was definitely an awesome character.

I did a youtube search, but couldn't really get her scottish voice. I guess I'm going a direct buy so I can play it now. Thank you. I'm always intrigued with a game I haven't heard of.

Back in the day, I always liked Lynx from Chrono Cross, (serge's father brainwashed into being a puppet of a supercomputer).

The embed code is provided under any youtube video (To the left of the flag normally). Copy then paste under BBCode and submit.
