And while being still competent, the council is at least 300% less incompetent than the UN.

But yeah, in order for the SA to get as far as did in 50ish years it must have been lead by some people who put building ships and so forth above political correctness and social crap. Personally I am going with the theory that the chairman of the SA is Space Reagan.

The Council must be equivalent to the U.N. then. Inept and useless.

I love this so much. I hate the UN

Yer, you're right, Bush making war with Iraq was the better way to go. He hated the UN too so he lied to them instead. (yes that's sarcasm)
Australia ain't jealous of the US... why? because we're not enjoying your downturn and astronomical debt.

Yeah because the economic situation in every other country but America is fantastic... Greece for example.
At least we still have a kickass military. And as the SA seems to have a kickass military, it must be lead by real space Americans over space Europeans who wouldn't fund their space military enough.

Jealousy and hatred are not much different. The top dog is almost always the most despised. Look at all the hatred and jealousy directed at the Tali fans.

Ah the typical European/Canadian "ignorant Americans" point of view. Wishing we spent less on our military like you "enlightened" nations. And yes having a kickass military has clearly helped in killing the enemy, it doesn't do much about defining strategic goals in a certain wasteland however.

You mean World War II, where we came in and saved Britain and France's asses from the Germans and Italians?  While Canada sat by and did largely nothing.

The democratic nations of Europe owe the United States a huge favor.

Orly?  I was under the impression that the Soviet Union's involvement in defeating Germany was 4-5 times greater than America's.  Oh well, I guess that's just me.

You Europeans are all racist!

Fail analogy is fail anyway, because the United States was one of the largest industrialized nation in the world at the time it became, both in territory and population terms. It was more technologically sophistecated than other nations as well, and maintained this throughout the Cold War.

By way of comparison, the SA is less advanced than the other nations, and has a TINY population and territory size. That they wield so much political influence as of ME2 is staggering and completely unbelievable.

Actually I don't wish you spent less, it saves us Canadians money.  But yes you could definitely up the intellegence out there to prevent the bombings of Canadian patrols and iraqi wedding parties.

And to the person who mentioned the seals.  It is definitely necessary, have you ever tried to fish or farm fish with a seal about?  The world could use less seals.

Oh I suppose the USAAF bombing campaign and the millions of dollars worth of lend-lease given to the Soviets didn't help them at all either? Nor US actions in North Africa prior to Italy and Normandy.

You wouldn't have enjoyed living under Soviet rule much more than **** Germany. If the Soviets still managed to win without any US involvement or aid in Europe, Stalin would have had no problems pushing all the way to the French coast.
