Actually DA2 isn't much of a surprise thanks to that insert that came with the Dragon Age Origins: Awakening Expansion: 2/1/2011.

I doubt they're going to announce anything major, maybe just have a system that shows how it might run and talk about stuff. E3 is a perfect platform to start building hype, so expect lots and lots of vague answers.

Who knows, different teams are doing both games, and while DA II might have been started a bit earlier they coulda been working on ME3 for a while now. Especially if, as some people have said here, they're not doing any big graphical or physics changes than that cuts out quite a bit of production time

It would be cool if it was ME3. Im hoping but EA did say something "out of this world" is coming early next year. So maybe that?

2011...Consideren the development time of the current titles(ME, DA) this really sounds like rushed jobs for both. Probably because new consoles are on the horizon. But looking how God of War was a success eventhough it started on an outdate platform suggest that such a rush is unjustified. Specially ME3 as the final chapter of the story has lots of hopes on it and alot of potential, which can hardly be met with such a short development time.
