Why in the world does everyone want ME4 to be an RTS? Last I checked, RTS's sucked.

Company of Heroes and Starcraft would like to disagree with you.

Also, EA's already said they were planning something 'far-reaching' for the Mass Effect universe, and Casey Hudson's already said that the Mass Effect franchise will continue without Shepard after the 3rd.

An expansion or multiplayer mode isn't 'far-reaching' for any RPG or shooter.

A multiplayer mode is far-reaching for a modern BioWare game.

Neverwinter Nights and The Old Republic?

I consider modern BioWare to be post-NWN, and TOR isn't even out yet, though your point still stands.

I think it's speculation by Gamespot, but we'll have to wait and see I guess

They announced in late December of 2009 that they already started development on Mass 3. So no thats not it. Hudson said that the release gap between ME2 and ME3 won't be as long as the first two. So expect a late 2011 or early 2012 release. Muzyka said in the article linked above that they have multiple reveals. So it's probably a formal announcement with a teaser for ME3. If not, there will be DLC trailers and info most likely. DA:2 has already been confirmed for an early or mid 2011 release. Not much to worry about there.

starcraft, warcraft series, early command and conquers, and Rise of Nations would like a word with you

Edit: Forgot to add: Homeworld series, Sins of a Solar Empire, Age of Empire I and II, Age of Mythology...

I'm sorry, I don't talk to games that suck.  Posted Image

I don't want to see anything for ME3. I want to see DLC and further support for ME2. Because the sooner we get ME3, the sooner the trilogy is over. And who the hell wants that?

But yeah, I'm hoping we get some info on more expansions/DLC for ME2. Just completed my 3rd playthrough and Started a 4th. This game is damn addicting.

Yeh, I even go back and play through ME1 when I reroll. Addicting!

Gamespot seem to enjoy making crap up because the last 2-3 years when they make these interactive maps, they seem to put any games down that they would like to see: Eg - One year there was supposed to be a showing of Duke Nukem Forever at the 2008 show but that of course never happened.

GameSpot is just speculating, it's too early for sequels. Those earlier announcements about something "far-reaching" for ME and that date for DAO seemed like spin-offs to me, not sequels

And if they rush something out for both ME3 and DA2 you run the risk of having a crappy story that's full of holes and a ridiculous amount of bugs. I'm willing to wait if it means the games will be as good or better than ever.

Here's a screen shot of the listing of ME3 and Dragon Age 2. Posted Image
From the main link you have to click on the EA booth, and then click highlights. Scroll down and you will see them for both xbox 360 and pc. I saw an article somewhere that EA is claiming this to be an error.

EDIT: Here is the article I mentioned: http://gameinformer....ge-2-rumor.aspx

"We can confirm that the listing of Mass Effect 3 and Dragon Age 2 was indeed an error that is currently being corrected," said an EA spokesperson."

Reading that again... they've confirmed that it was an error for GameSpot to list Mass Effect 3 and Dragon Age 2, but they didn't confirm whether those two will or will not be at E3.

Seems pretty clear cut to me. The EA spokesperson said no ME3 or DA2.

They confirmed that GameSpot shouldn't have listed it, but not that they aren't going to reveal anything about it. If they did, they would have said something like:

"We can confirm that Mass Effect 3 and Dragon Age 2 will NOT be shown at E3"

Remember, Mass Effect 1 was present at E3 June 2006, more than a year and a half before it was released in November of 2007.

Not that I'm saying that ME3 and DA2 will be there, but I really hate how game articles twist the words and actions of other companies when it's clear that they're just messing with their heads.

Ok, If you're right, Gamespot isn't the only one messing with people's heads then. That response from the spokesperson is kinda dodgy.

Well, bethesda originally denied any TESV at E3, but then apparently they are announcing it, so that hasn't completely destroyed my hopes lol.

That's what I'm hoping for, but it's unclear exactly what they'll be announcing-maybe that lame MMO that everybody knows is coming. They're definetly announcing something.
Please don't let Elder scrolls go the same way KOTOR has.:crying:

Also, links to the article:
www.vg247.com/2010/06/03/rumour-bethesda-arming-elder-scrolls-v-announcement-for-e3/

Seems mostly just speculation, but if they are indeed anouncing something Elder scrolls related, we can only hope.
