IIRC, Germany had an illegal goal in '66 as well. Offside or after a foul play.. can't remember... now.. no one deserves that. Specially after being down 0-2 and trying to come back and doing it half way already! That's a soul killer! I hope the ref loses his!

That ball was not even close... Should be 2:2, and just a restart of a very entertaining game so far. No way FIFA can ignore this - a simple chip in the ball could have said the ref it's a goal, that technology is useable since years, but stubborn FIFA refuses due to "traditions".

But brazil is not England Rage, I can never explain it to you. Your whole country expects, but you have players and a team that can produce, we dont.
Every tournament, England can win, we are a top seed, its all BS mate. Our players are crap, a lot of times we have not even qualified, and again, imo we should never have won the '66 cup (AGAIN, imo).
If all the idiotic drunk fans stayed at home, our media was realistic, and we were not seeded or expected to win, I might show more of an interest, but for now, we are just a bunch of overplayed, overhyped, cant be assed, egotistical and arrogant players.

Well, your crap players were putting the might German team to a draw after their got a 2-0 lead. You are not seeing facts, at least not for this match and that's what should count!
I hate my team as well, most of us do, because the coach not only has a nickname after the "7 dwarves" (Dunga=Dopey) but he is as dumb as the guy. Now, when it comes to the tournament, we can't help it but our hearts speak louder. We always want our country to win.
Ultimately, that's how wars should be fought. Imagine WW2 and how many lives would be saved if this very match was played and decided the fate of those crazy bloodthirsty army men!

Erm just a word of advice its generally not a good idea to call Irish people British. Technically I am British and I personally dont care. But if its said to the wrong person here it will end badly and you will never get them to shut up.
As for Mav's attempts to explain his dislike of England I understand what he is saying but it might be difficult for people not from here to understand it.

I think if England manage to pull it out of the bag Druss, it might be limited to the odd pocket/group....but if we lose, there will be a lot of trouble later, and that again, sums up why I wont support my national team, every country see's us as trouble makers etc etc.
