ARG - MEX was a very tight match until the ref. ruined it. Also, why FIFA is saying that replay of the goal in the stadium was not supposed to be shown? IT WAS A GOAL FFS. Now they won't show replay of the goals that a ref validates only because it was irregular? LOL

And Kyda, it was my call. I considered you did betted on your team to win so STOP or it's a yellow card for you! (It is your team after all)

Also, 3 Hats nulifies 2 hands so Luis Fabiano's goal was still a masterpiece! =P

Imagine if the England game yesterday v Germany was a Final game and assume Germany ahead 2-1, then England scores during last couple of minutes of game for an equalizer which would take us into extra time, but the goal doesn't count because the referee disallowed it even though it's clear as day to thousands of people in the stadium, as well as the video footage. Imagine the outcries from fans and media alike and hence the reason why something has got to be done to prevent a situation like this ever occurring again in the so called beautiful game.



I fear we are still yet to see more controversial decisions being made before the end of this tournament, perhaps even worse than the England game (but surely not), and that is the saddest thing of it all I feel.

But that sooooo wasn't a penalty, the ref probably felt bad about Slovakia so he decided to trow them a bone and let them score..

Your kidding me right? He's one of the best players on the entire team.. (along with Mathijsen and Stekelenburg this match). He is everywhere on the field where you need him, half of the time he made sure he was aways free to receive the ball, except those Big Four Ego's won't pass the ball to him. They want the goals for themselves, and expeccialy not Kuyt because he's actually tries to do something (ok, given, he's not as good as most players, but he makes it more than good by really going for the ball, he keeps attacking and keeping the pressure on the opponent.
Didn't you see the second goal by Sneijder? Kuyt walked into the empthy space, grandpa (Bronckhorst) gave him the ball, but instead of most attackers (like Van Persie, Robben, Sneijder, Van der Vaart, and thats only our team..) he passed the ball to Sneijder because he was in a better position.

Thats one of the reasons I like him over the Big Four Ego's, they only want to go for there own succes. Robben should have passed the ball to Van Persie when he scored, Sneijder should have passed the ball on to one of the four players in front of him, not try to score himself.

And Van Marwijk knows this, why else would he take Van Persie and Robben of the field but let Kuyt stay.. (And that reaction of Van Persie when he had to get off, thats just not done... you don't go half-attacking your coach when he get you off the field..)
If he has any guts he'll start next game with the Big Four Ego's on the couch and start with Kuyt, Huntelaar, Elia and Affelay.

Sure, you need players like Sneijder and Robben because they can score quite easy (Robben's goal was his first ball contact basicly) but that doesn't mean they get to have more privileges and than the rest of the team
