It was yesterday... that´s funny you know... how they all say it was us who provoke but it was Klose who yield the goal to our players that were sitting with the coach on 2006. And it was them making fun of our team when they won the penalties, yeah I am sure the players reacted to that, it is not that we don’t know how to loose, it is them that do not know how to win... I don’t know if we will win but I would love to see their mouths shut...
Look, this story is told very different in Germany. (And obviously the newspapers were full of it, yesterday) ... Which version is the true one? Yours? Not likely. The one told here? Of course not. Players of both teams acted not very mature that day, and we never know the true amount of hidden fouls or insults that happened during the game - from both sides, there are no angels playing ..
Long story short, don't take this nonsense that serious. Both teams have a good offense, and a at best mediocre defense, sounds like a promising game. Lets just look forward to that.

True, I didn’t mean to sound that serious... I do recognize that it was our fault to loose... I can’t believe those guys only kicked the ball to one side!!!

Uruguay v Ghana - Uruguay
Brazil v Uruguay - Brazil
Argentina v Germany - Argentina
Paraguay v Spain - Spain
Argentina v Spain - Argentina
Final
Brazil v Argentina
Donno who will win though, but that's what I expect. But this WC has been a bit unpredictable, more than I'd like it to be, lol. Oh apparently this Octopus in Germany can predict Germany's result in their games. It has been right 4 times so far, and the octopus thinks Germany will beat Argentina.

It is also true that one day before its last match, Italy went to a Shaman, and he said there would be bad luck... it happened to be so... against Slovakia (?!)
Now, after the sacrifice made by Lippi (by saying he takes all responsibilities), he's now getting bashed, rebashed and rerebashed. So much that they are making songs to insult him, write things on the walls, or start attacking him with screams and insults and bottles when he's taking his vacation on his boat.
That's Italy for you!

I am led to believe the octopus did his choice on the basis of colors. I mean, it sees white and blue all day long, it's obvious it'll choose the more newer colors...

Game
58 02/07 - Uruguay 2 x 0 Ghana
57 02/07 - Netherlands 2 x 1 Brazil (I hate that I can't see this game... I don't mind if Brazil wins, but I'll predict that we will win so I won't have ambiguous feelings if Brazil wins... because then it's Netherlands lose = :'( but I have points =
59 03/07 - Germany 1 x 2 Argentina
60 03/07 - Paraguay 0 x 1 Spain

Yes, I'd say Boring is the right term. They win, they'll talk about it for one century and insult any other country. They lose, they'll :Adriano87 wrote...

1) Say the ref did wrong decisions
2) Their country was the best, but hey, somehow the others got lucky
3) If else fails, insult a poor guy that said it was his fault just to defend the players (and a genius is not needed for understanding this).

No one mentions Spain until Torres scores...
Battle between Netherlands and Brazil. A country divided from the multi-racial aspect (as said in the news paper).
The natives of the country will hold for Brazil, while the white colonists of South Africa, being of Dutch origins, will hold for The Netherlands.
Finally, bets say Uruguay has more chances to win. Ghana however possibly has shown more in the KO system match, they have a more physical game and finally, the entire continent with them. Uruguay has 2 titles to defend. Whoever passes, has the fourth place guaranteed. More? Possibly, but low chances.
Ultimatum : EA Sports is possibly racist. Don't know how many of you play their FIFA games, but in my case, my brother having a PS3 and FIFA 2010 (not WC), while playing, I've noticed something interesting. Everybody knows the possibly best goalkeeper in the world for these pair of years, Julio Cesar :

INTERESTINGLY though, it seems that EA believes this equation is true :
Brazil = Black skin
In fact, Julio Cesar is of a "darker tone" (no racism intended from my side) in FIFA 2010. Don't know for its predecessor. Now look at the photo above and you tell me.
Edit : In other news, out of the World Cup, Italy has its new Coach, Cesare Prandelli. You might remember him in the 80s as an excellent player, or more recently as Firenze's "Fiorentina" coach.
Sports journalist comment : He has the easiest job yet. Build an Italy from scratch. Sure that's not really saying much. Journalists say : Italy was never so bad... they cannot do worse. But I think, what if they don't qualify for the Euro 2012? Poor Prandelli, that's what happening.
He will however call 2 of some players which were missing in Lippi's national team, naming them, Cassano from Sampdoria, and "Super" Mario Balotelli from Inter, which can accomplish quite a lot.
Other calls that were missing for most part because of injuries re-include Buffon as goalkeeper and Pirlo as mid-fielder/attacker. This time however, Pirlo won't replace Montolivo like it did for Lippi, but rather both will be in the midfield. Totti is also a chance, although not sure. A very agressive 3 attackers +2 midfield attackers. Something Italy never did in fact.
We'll be able to see the new Italy the 10th of August in London against the Ivory coast, later in September against Estonia in Tallinn. (and against Slovenia the 25th of March 2011!!!!)
Other news, Messi was ill yesterday and skipped training. Today he seems ready to jump in battle. Oops! The match is tomorrow.
Bets : Brazil as winner, highest chance, followed by Spain and Argentina.
Best scorer : bet 1 euro for Kaka, you get 300 euros. Bet 1 euro for Torres? You get 150. You might as well think about it!
