I had a goal disallowed for the very thing that Van Persie did tonight, in my final game before I had to retire about a month ago. I'm still raging about because it was a 30 yard rocket lol.

Oh, I get it. You think these would be better, or were you being sarcastic?

I'd hate to see the "foul counting" that goes on in basketball spread to other sports. One of the few things in that game that is really genuinely lame.

Finals, Here We Come!!
After 23 years, finnaly made it to the finals again!

But I'm ashamed of the match... they sucked baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad. A beautiful 1-0 and than they fall back, let Uruguay attack, you could just wait for the 1-1 to happen....
None of the passes arrived, all to short, when they could chose to go either to the flank, where no opponents were, or the centre, where there were 5 guys, they always chose the centre...
In the second half we started out decently, attacking, again getting a goal out ot thin air (that was NOT offside, the FIFA froze the image to late, making it look like an offside goal) and a great 3-1. And then they fell back once again... letting Uruguay attack and make the 3-2 and almost let them make the tie, if Kuyt hadn't save us once more.

But that all doesn't matter now, WE ARE GOING TO THE FINALSB)

We did tried something like the collective fouls awarding a free kick from the half-circle in front of the area years ago. I think FIFA made us call it off but it was fun. Ten fouls and the next for that half is a free kick.



And it didn't suck. Players were really careful not to make fouls. I hate fouls. And we have a spray to mark the barrier spot for many years now and it works fine. No idea why FIFA don't use it everywhere. Makes players stand in the spot and not advance the barrier irregularly.



And Van Whoever was offside at the moment of the shot by Snider. There are two types of offside position. Active and Passive. He made sure to make his an Active Offside and it should have been called.

I also hate fouls. If it worked to make them stop fouling, that would be awesome.



But FIFA seems to be in love with controversy because it draws publicity, and we all know that there is no such thing as bad publicity.

If you look carefully to the frozen image of that goal, you see that the ball already left Sneijders foot when frozen. The commentator here showed an frozen image a bit earlier, when he actually shot the ball, Van Persie wasn't offside, active or passive..
