Ref errors? It was at the other end of the pitch, they still had to get the ball the length of the pitch to score. You cant blame a goal on something that happened that far away.

Personally, I don't think Spain deserved the victory overall of all matches. Of this one, absolutely. Of the world cup, well, they were the favorites.
Personal thoughts : I think Germany has shown the most actually. Though the match against Spain was horrible. Kudos to Paul.
Biggest surprise of this year : Uruguay. Great game. Almost deserved to win more than Spain
Forlan played incredibly its matches. Great, great player.
Biggest underperformer : France. Who else, runner ups of 2006, winners 12 years ago, they disgusted me.
Worse player of the year : Messi personally. Runner up Torres.
Best player of the year : Casillas, great keeping. Runner up the best scorer Villa of course.
Surprising surpirse : Italy... what the hell?
Favorite team : Netherlands and Brazil
Best team : Spain
Satisfied? Let's say yes.

Spain still had to travel the length of the pitch with the ball and the Dutch had enough players back to stop them. Thats like blaming a result on throw in given the wrong way. After seeing the replay it wasnt even a freekick, it could have gone either way but he went down too easy.

Refereeing errors are the only reason Holland werent reduced to 9 men it evened itself out.
