In soccer you're never going to see the kind of amazing plays you see in American football. And in American football you're never going to see the kinds of amazing plays you see in soccer. They're just different.
And again, there isn't all that much kicking in rugby either, and rugby is also football.
FIFA World Cup Pool - Spain, Harry and THE OCTOPUSS are the great champions of the 2010 World Cup!!!

Rugby's origin is intertwined with soccer. Many many years ago, some people wanted to play the game with you hands, and some people wanted to play the game with your feet. Thus of the split was born association football and rugby football. (because association football was what was adopted by the football association in england)

Yeah but no one calls rugby football. Here its almost like a completely different class of people that play rugby. The 2 sports arent even associated.
I detest rugby. It has no room for creativity your only allowed to pass the ball sideways. They tried to make me play it in school but it was quickly added to the list of sports I was banned from playing.

Yip alot of them are happening at the minute. The English and Scottish teams have definately started playing already in their friendlies. You might be able to see a few games on TV if you search around a bit.

When we played rugby in school, the only rule of the game was "get the ball to the other side of the field." It's a good thing we were small boys or we would have likely seriously injured each other.

We had full on rules which were just ridiculous. I objected in a slightly extreme manner to people grabbing me.
We were also forced to play basketball (I was banned from that too), baseball, hockey and Gaelic football (I was not only banned from that but suspended from school after only 1 game).
