Credit where credit is due: That's from that Nike ad. "Write the Future"... guess that it's closer than Rooney would ever want it to be:

It is a great ad. Check it out. Of course, life is a lot harder than a Nike's ad but they did get it right, even if they didn't know it.

After the Holland game you can add either "Dutch Delight" or "Dutch Disaster".

I don't see either Rooney or Ribery writing their future. Apart from Rooney's poor caravan future.

we shall have the Bursting of Great game of Holland against Japan (I don't like this Asian team, but I like S.Korea) ... Sneijder, Huntelar and Van Persie will be the best today

I don't even read our newspapers because of the high level of censorship, so many newspapers has been closed in these 2 years, so many are in prison :(:crying:

The only thing I've read until now is both Slovene and US reporters bombarding the ref, asking what the hell happened when they suspended the goal (yep, also Slovene reporters wondered that). Conclusion? It seems that the ref doesn't even speak English, says the scorer of the first US goal yesterday (which I don't remember who is).

oh a misunderstanding, I thought you were british because of the quote in your post; and yes, sadly I'm aware of what goes on in Iran. I followed the last elections closely, as did many people in the country. Believe me I know about dictatorships since I was born in Cuba and even though I moved here when I was a little girl my parents told me all about it. :(

It's a shame most dictatorships end badly. I am one of the lucky ones, Tito led our country quite well. Sure, there were dark times too, but I believe he could have made the most successful dictatorship and successful communist country around. Strange enough, 10 years after his death, war started...

there can be good dictatorships but they are rare ... few Kings and Emperors in historic eras, and a case like your country.

There you go mate.
Its all hyperbole as usual claiming its the worst performance in their history and all that nonesense. They still got a draw I remember an equally bad performance one night in Belfast.
