Its all a bit blurry but because he was offside when the New Zealand player flicked it on it doesnt matter that Cannavaro touched it because he should already have been flagged offside.

Ok then... it's a conspiracy! :P 

The linesman (I think this is the right word) probably didn't see that anyone (besides the italian) toutched the ball and at the time the freekick was taken he wasn't offside

and the post saves again!

For all Italy's dominance their forwards havent done anything. One took a penalty and thats about it.

Now, if that was a penalty, the USA should have shot 3 in a row for the same play when that Malinese ref. impugnated their 3rd goal.  That match should be 5x2! There were 3 fouls in that play. And a couple hundreds like those each match. Will they call them all?

And yes, some of the fouls going unpunished, and some non-fouls being punished is ridiculous, and to think, just over a week ago we were praising how well the ref's were doing lol...how things change...

I've just read that Ribery also revolted against the coach. And that Domeneq had agreed to change tactics against México but then he learned that it was a Zidane's idea and backed off. He wouldn't let Zidane run his team like he had done in Germany 2006 (when they actually made it to the finals thanks to that).

I heard there was infighting amongst the players too they dont want Gourcouff in the team for some reason and are demanding Henry replace Govou. I also heard a wizard fought a cyclops but its all just rumours at the minute.
