It's subtle when you're walking, but very noticeable when storming. Either way, it makes me nauseous, and I really want to enjoy this game.

We need a Nitpickers Anonymous group.

There's a difference between nitpicking (ie. "I don't like the crosshairs, fix it", which is a sentiment I don't share) and getting motion sickness from constant camera bobbing.

Try the tech section of these forums. That's where you should go for this sorta thing. I wouldn't be surprised if someone has a mod you could use. Otherwise take breaks while playing.

It's funny actually, because I asked on Tech and they told me to ask here. lol
Also, the motion sickness sets in within 10 minutes, and lasts for just as long if I break immediately. The only way for me to really be able to enjoy this game without the nausea, is to play without the camera bob.

I agree sorry to hear that it is making you nauseous but honestly i dont think there is an option to shut off the camera motion. I think they threw it in to make running during combat feel more real like in Gears of War 2.

I actually referred him to this forum. Technical support is more about fixing game breaking problems and telling people whether or not their hardware can run the game. This is about a tweak or a mod so this forum seems more appropriate for that.eternalnightmare13 wrote...

Mass Effect gives Massive Motion Sickness Effect also to me, I forgot why I quit playing this game, then yesterday started again and yes great sickness effect again, everybody who says it is nitpicking should have this sickness also, then they would know better. Dragon age games doesn't have it, but Mass Effect has it and you can't disable camera shaking, which is too bad, it is only thing which prevents me playing this game. During walking or crouching camera doesn't shake, but during running it does a lot and in this game you need to run from cover to cover. Why you can't disable shaking, almost every game head bob is optional feature? I hope that in ME3 you finally can disable it.

If on PC, edit your Biogame.ini file.
[BIOC_Base.BioCameraUtility]
m_bDoCamShake=1
Set to 0
[BIOC_Base.BioPawn]
m_isCameraShakeEnabled=TRUE
Set to FALSE
One, or both, of these settings should do it. Havent tested it, not going to test it, because I already wasted enough time looking for it (1 minute).
If on Xbox, feel free to put up with it.

Bogsnot, out of curiosity I tested it and it works.. though it looks really... weird... not having the bob just doesn't feel right for some reason.
Anyhow, will probably be of use to those few people who get motion sick from it I guess. Unless you're on console, then you're up poopie creek without a paddle... unless of course you opt to paddle in the poopie creek with your hands... but then one has to wonder whether it's worse being stranded up poopie creek without a paddle waiting for rescue or paddling the poopie creek with your hands and getting covered in horrid poopie and...... oh...... what? Ah, yes... well, I digress...

I have to resurrect this, because haven't found any remedies yet. You really can't do anything to motion sickness by yourself, being tougher isn't solution.

Yea, I tried this on ME1 to no avail. Massive motion sickness here, too. Does this still work? Or did it work for you?
