In regards to a frontal view of Miranda and her outfit, I know this is just another artist's rendition of it, but I thought it was a good one.

Yankee, what can you do? I appreciate the civility on this thread because I also post on the Liara thread. I love Tali as well, I just have fewer interesting things to say that I feel like sharing in public.

And they wonder why such an attitude turns people off from liking Tali. I certainly wouldn't like to be lumped together with that bunch. 

BTW, that's two pages of that crap posted by a group of 8. Something to remember when next time someone comes here saying that these are "rogue elements"...

The average level of maturity in the Tali thread. Maybe an age thing...

Fortunately Tali isn't my favorite character. Having to deal with these jerks on a day-to-day basis would be stressful....

Yeah. Think you've got it there Ieldra. Somehow Tali seems to draw the fanatics more than any of the other LI's.
Some Tali fans aren't lunatics, I know - they've dropped by here and we've had sensible conversations with them. It's a shame really.
 
I have nothing against Tali. Lovely character, but far too sickeningly sweet for my taste. Add to that she's like the teenage sister of a friend who's got a major league crush on you and I find any romantic thoughts vanish. My Shep's will keep an eye out for her and make sure she doesn't come to harm, because she's like a little sister, but that's as far as it goes.

Oh so you can show the same level of "fanatisism" on your character of choice at it not bad hmmm? As an Actual fairly regular poster in the Tali thread, I'd hardly call them any more "fanatical" then anyone else in the other threads. As for maturity and such you just have to get the right group in at the same time. *shrugs*

Oddly enough, I tend to use Shep/Tali as a side pairing a lot because Miranda is otherwise occupied in the fic I write. So this glorified ship war and character bashing is really funny.

The problem is there is nobody in Tali thread who shows his disagreement with what have been said.

Thats because most of the Tali thread member have long ago learned to disregard anything the "outside" says about them. Mostly due to the horrible flamewars this has lead too in the past. Thats why Talimancers are pretty wary of "outsiders".
