Andaius - You've that right. I have no issue with people saying their favourite character is the best- it's part of being a fan of something, it's when there is a distinct lack of respect for other views and the blinkers come out that I become concerned.

It absolutely grinds my gears to see her called a sl*t, wh*re, etc or to see jokes about forced prostitution. There's a misogynistic streak I see in some Miranda-bashing that I very much dislike. And we shouldn't stoop to that level. Ever.

Only thing i feel is sadness shows that the person or people have a lack of maturity about them, there's always going to be people like that in every thread no sense in letting it get to you..best thing to do is have a laid back approach to it.

The bashing tends to happen when people troll the Tali thread, rather than it being posted here.



I like Tali. I like Miranda. It's not a competition, Most of you like Miranda's romance better. Fine. Most of them like Tali's romance better. Fine. It's a matter of taste. Neither is objectively better. And I'd hate to drive off of people like nitefyre because of a few jerks. On both sides.

Well it's too late, Tali thread as been trolled over the years by just about every other character thread aside from some few. Atleast we don't come to your threads and troll you. Also potato Kikai isn't even a Talimancer....thanks for lumping someone who isn't "one of us" into the group as a whole. She's a legionmancer if you believe it.

The fan bases we actually get along with are the one that never came to our thread to troll us or bash us... strange hmmm? I personally only count the action of individuals and not the group. Also if the topic isn't of my liking I'll leave and come back later not start flame wars or flamebait the others.

So we can make a judgement on your whole group by what Kraidy is don't now. All Mirimancers troll the threads of anyone that god forbid doesn't like the "holy Miranda" he just turned a 2 page off hand comment that was over into a 10 page miri flame baiting debate. Logical right? Kraidy is a Mirimancer, so he then represents all the Mirimancers in the Miri thread. This is the same logical I've seen used by people here and in other threads I visit in reguard to how the Tali thread is looked on. Lots of people make the comment "it could be worse, ti could be the Tali thread." and have know idea what they are talking about. 

Lots of what goes on is I don't like X member of group X so lets bash and troll Group X. When they should just ignore Member X and mind there own thread or whatever.  If you have issues with said people take it to PM's. OR realize that this is the Internetz and your raging over fictional characters. Unless your really seriously think those people are pychotic murderers that will carry out those comments.

Then some of you wonder why some people in the Tali thread don't like the other threads fanbases?
