Look. I'm going to come right out and say it. I don't like Miranda. I've never made that a secret. And it's not like I haven't given the character a chance. I REALLY wanted to like her. But for my own reasons, she just isn't a character I can get into.

That said, I'm not trying to offend anyone or ****** anyone off (well, aside from maybe Kraidy). I don't come in here to complain about Miranda, and I FULLY support Mirandamance for Mass Effect 3. I hope that everybody here can continue their Miranda romance, and that Bioware does it justice for you. I won't be joining you in it, but I hope you're happy with what Bioware does just the same. I know I tend to go off the rails about her, Jacob, TIM, and Cerberus, and I get a little... vocal... but I've never trolled here, and I never will. As I said, I don't come here to fight. I simply have my own opinions, and am aware that others have theirs. I know not everyone likes Tali, I can handle the fact that some people even hate her. Same with Garrus. Hell, I've even entertained the idea of coming into this thread to try and gain some perspective on why people like Miranda.

In short, I apologize for offending anyone, and for any offences I make in the future, of which I'm sure there will be more. I don't want there to be a war over this non-sense, especially on my behalf. And please, try not to take anything I say about Miranda, or anyone else for that matter too seriously. I know I sure as hell don't.

Keep it cool, Mirandamancers. Best of luck in your perfectly engineered lovin'.

Lots of people make the comment "it could be worse, ti could be the Tali thread." and have know idea what they are talking about. 

Lots of what goes on is I don't like X member of group X so lets bash and troll Group X. When they should just ignore Member X and mind there own thread or whatever.  If you have issues with said people take it to PM's. OR realize that this is the Internetz and your raging over fictional characters. Unless your really seriously think those people are pychotic murderers that will carry out those comments.

Then some of you wonder why some people in the Tali thread don't like the other threads fanbases?

I have never seen people bash Tali in this thread. I can say I'd personally try and stop them if I did and I know many who would do the same.

I have seen people bash Miranda in the Tali thread. I have seen them say that about Miranda. I do not count these people as representative of the entire Tali group. I consider them part of an entirely new group which I now dub, "The Talimonsters."

Oh, just remembered, could someone suggest some good Miranda/Shepard fanfiction to me? I can't seem to find any that keep Miranda in character and aren't focused on nonstop sex.

Sorry Kraidy, but I don't accept your apology. Instead of trying to have an actual discussion about the disagreement, and resolve it like adults, you instead flamed the thread, involved other posters that weren't even at fault, trolled, and made yourself look like a ravenous fanatic. And you lied, repeatedly, and tried to pass off your biased opinion as fact.

In short, you are everything that is wrong with the fanatics on all of the threads. Instead of a "Hey, that's not kewl, let's talk about why you don't like x character", you went straight to "**** you mother****er - I'm right and you're wrong".

Your gestapo-esque policing of other threads, in case anyone dares disagree with your almighty opinion, is the reason fan threads get a bad wrap. You should be ashamed of yourself.

And to the rest of the thread - I ended up getting involved because of kraidy's blatant lies and trolling. I was accused of being a fanboy, repeatedly, simply bcause I was pointing out that kraidy's opinion was not supported by the events of the scene it was discussing.

For the record, I actually like Miranda. Not as a LI for my Shep's, but that is just a personal preference. Other than TIM and the damnable Cerberus ideology, I have no character dislikes in the game itself. Hell, I write and I take pains to try and make all of the characters as IC as possible, based on how I see them. My main story, actually has a lot of Miranda in it!

Anyway, long story short: kraidy, your apology is not accepted by me. You dishonored yourself, you dishonored your chosen fanbase, and you should have been reprimanded at the least for it.

Nobody has new lines Archer mentions Legion if you have him with you, but there's no new lines for any of the squad.
