Indeed, some people only see what they want to see, in spite of everything else (the facts and all) , and its a shame really, but oh well, i'm quite happy to leave them the way they are as long as they don't give me any trouble.

I don't agree. Saying "Don't die!" would make no sense at all if there wasn't a risk of death in the first place, so adding to that is superfluous, and opening up emotionally could actually be seen as less significant, since it might be the only chance you get. If not for the life-and-death-situation, it might have all happened much more slowly. Or not at all.

OK...arguing as the devil's advocate here. But I think adding this aspect to the answer serves only to confuse.

I think her ability to use sniper rifles would of complimented her female fatale image alot better, (i have a thing for chicks with sniper rifles lol) but i really do think Miri should of been able to use snipers instead of SMGs, but keep the pistols though, spies always have pistols, and its always a nice woapon for her to fall back to if they get close. (i mean the carnifex, not the sissy predator)

And there is a difference between a risky mission and a suicide mission. It's like asking an impossible promise from Shepard : it shows how much she cares about him.

It's an impossible promise if it's "only" risky. No difference. I still find it confusing. But I'll think about putting that aspect in somehow in a not so confusing way.

She's using a sniper rifle in the fanfic "Operation Forseti" (see OP for the link). That felt very natural and in-character for her. So yes, I agree. But she shouldn't be able to use the Widow. Too heavy and bone-breaking for anyone without cybernetic enhancements.

As for the SMG, I wouldn't mind its absence. Most of my Shepards are SMG classes, and many of my most preferred squadmates as well. So I always have an overpresence of SMGs in my squad.

It's an impossible promise if it's "only" risky. No difference. I still find it confusing. But I'll think about putting that aspect in somehow in a not so confusing way.

Amazing how in the cut scenes all characters have assult rifle training, but it dissapears soon after. I can just imagine, there in the collector base, hoding the door whilst Tali closes it;

That's gameplay vamp, don't confuse gameplay with lore. In lore Shepard is a soldier, a biotic and a tech spleist, but in gameplay it is balanced out.Same as the characters, In lore miri sue's a AR but in gameplay she use's a pistol and SMG so she is balnced (her power set is already dangerous)
