I never really had a huge beef with Cerberus, but after this DLC, Illusive Man's lack of ethics and morals horrify me. He didn't even deny his knowledge of the nature of the project like he often does. I was never really 100% certain which ending choice I wanted to go with concerning the Collector Base. Now I know I want it destroyed, and I want Cerberus destroyed. It's a shame this is an add-on and that we can't discuss it with Miranda or TIM. I'd be interested in hearing what they have to say.

And you just proved my point.  Is it ok to bash other forum goers?  No.  Yet, you are doing it with posts like this.  It is posters like you, and kraidy, and night, and Rip that perpetuate this bull****.

You are all hypocrites. Since it is ok, apparently, for you to **** and whine on this thread about another thread. And, it is ok for one of your fanatics to derail a thread for multiple pages but it is not ok for some of our posters to come over here and try and explain themselves? Hypocrites all of you.

You should all be ashamed of yourselves. Instead of trying to have legitimate discussions about characters, or even trying to find out the reasoning why a poster would post something that most agree is over the line, you instead **** and whine about it.

But whatever you need to do to feel better about yourself.

And no, most of the members of the Tali thread would not head over here, even if it was brought to our attention. Why? Because you are entitled to your opinion about a character, whether it is nice or not. You want to derail your own thread? Go ahead. Your choice.

However, it is not acceptable to flame another thread because someone's opinion dares to disagree with yours. Please be adults, drop it (as was suggested), and move on. It is not productive for either thread.

I really wished she would have said something, even if it would have cost more money. What Archer did was unethical.I really wanted to see if she would protect Cerberus or not.

Funny seeing as me and Rip had a nice pm conversation, so no your a hypocrite for still clinging onto this, as me and Rip have moved on. Me and rip told you to drop it, you have not so your reported for unnessasary spaming.

Man, some crazy flaming going on.

Anyway, replaying ME2 as a different character than I ussally do (veriaty), even used a different face than my ME1 face. But a bit into the game I just coudn't do it. I love 'MY' Shepard and can't really identify the voice with any other face, this includes Sheploo. So I imported my face file but adjusted the eyes to be more light blue, totally bad ass!
Also I wanted to do a Jack romance (never did before), but man I am falling for Miri all over again. I just can't stay away!

Look. I'm going to come right out and say it. I don't like Miranda. I've never made that a secret. And it's not like I haven't given the character a chance. I REALLY wanted to like her. But for my own reasons, she just isn't a character I can get into.

In short, I apologize for offending anyone, and for any offences I make in the future, of which I'm sure there will be more. I don't want there to be a war over this non-sense, especially on my behalf. And please, try not to take anything I say about Miranda, or anyone else for that matter too seriously. I know I sure as hell don't.

You were the one who suggested pimping out Miranda to batarians for gas money. That's not a joke, however you put it. An apology isn't worth the energy used up in typing it if you're going to post similar things in the future. Instead of apologizing in advance, I suggest not doing it any more and keeping your "jokes" on an acceptable level.

"It's a joke" is the typical response of people posting things like this, and unless they stop I'm not prepared to accept an apology. Since you came here, I'll accept yours for now, but not for any future misogynistic or racist crap you might post. 

As for why people like Miranda, there's the 10 reasons we like her in the Miranda Lawson FAQ. I also suggest that you look at pictures where she actually looks nice (also in the FAQ) as an answer to why we consider her beautiful. It's unfortunate that the game's lighting and especially the shadows, combined with her pale skin, make her look bad in some situations, but that's not the measure of a character's appearance. You Talimancers should appreciate that you never see Tali's face, for if you could see it, I'm sure pictures could be found where she looks really ugly.

Have a look into our OP. There are several stories featuring Miranda/Shepard. Miranda stays mostly IC and I don't recall any of the listed ones consisting of mostly non-stop sex.

Oh...Miranda is very much the person who desires to get the last word. Even so, I think she rarely attempts it for real, for she's controlled enough as a rule to not drag out arguments ad infinitum. But the occasional one would be IC.

Hello to all Miri-fans. After checking the tali-thread to see kraidy going nuts all over the place, I felt the need to peek in here and check the situation, and maybe offer some clarification.

As for the first note, I don't hate Miranda. Or Jacob.
I don't even hate TIM, or Legion, even when I wrote this.
I understand it's easy to confuse some things, as when I'm going to have in my next fanfic to make Shepard hit both Cerberus operatives. NOTE; Not because who they are, but because they are part of Cerberus (and disobeyed Shepard's orders).
Also, this was continued with some jokes for, what, three posts. It was fun for the moment, I admit, even if they were silly. But then, the joke got old, no need to continue it and no interest either.

Jokes are jokes, and the fanfic? It's just a fanfic, no need to go serious and declare me to be a Miri-hater, even if I'm something of a Talimancer myself.

Also, if anyone got offended to the point of rage, I offer a sincere apology.

Funnier is, that my jokes were never like that. They were other user's posts entirely.

You can write your own fanfic about where you'd put Tali under a serious physical assault or sorts, you can write anything, it's your freedom.
Me? I propably wouldn't like it, but it depends on the quality of it's writing. Bashing jokes are something not worth to get all worked up.
How I deal with the regular trolls in the Tali-thread or with bashing jokes? I shrug them off. I recommend it when dealing with the internet, has saved me from lots of furious typing.
