I always take that pale electric blue color for Shepard's eyes, even if the import Shepard's eyes were brown, because it gives this otherworldly quality to the face which I think fits a zombie.

Bioware loves to implement that option. My DA:O character has nearly pure white eyes and it definitely gives that transdimensional feeling like you were born from above or below.

Look. I'm going to come right out and say it. I don't like Miranda. I've never made that a secret. And it's not like I haven't given the character a chance. I REALLY wanted to like her. But for my own reasons, she just isn't a character I can get into.

That said, I'm not trying to offend anyone or ****** anyone off (well, aside from maybe Kraidy). I don't come in here to complain about Miranda, and I FULLY support Mirandamance for Mass Effect 3. In short, I apologize for offending anyone, and for any offences I make in the future, of which I'm sure there will be more. I don't want there to be a war over this non-sense, especially on my behalf. And please, try not to take anything I say about Miranda, or anyone else for that matter too seriously. I know I sure as hell don't.

You were the one who suggested pimping out Miranda to batarians for gas money. That's not a joke, however you put it. An apology isn't worth the energy used up in typing it if you're going to post similar things in the future. Instead of apologizing in advance, I suggest not doing it any more and keeping your "jokes" on an acceptable level.

"It's a joke" is the typical response of people posting things like this, and unless they stop I'm not prepared to accept an apology. Since you came here, I'll accept yours for now, but not for any future misogynistic or racist crap you might post. 

As for why people like Miranda, there's the 10 reasons we like her in the Miranda Lawson FAQ. I also suggest that you look at pictures where she actually looks nice (also in the FAQ) as an answer to why we consider her beautiful. It's unfortunate that the game's lighting and especially the shadows, combined with her pale skin, make her look bad in some situations, but that's not the measure of a character's appearance. You Talimancers should appreciate that you never see Tali's face, for if you could see it, I'm sure pictures could be found where she looks really ugly.

That's a fair assessment, and of course, you are right. I shouldn't be apologizing if I don't make strides to rectify my mistakes. I'll meet you half way. I'm not going to change my opinions on Miranda any time soon, I don't think, but I apologize again for my remarks, and will, in the future, keep them to myself.

I wouldn't call it so much as a joke.... it's more like... Well... as a general rule, people shouldn't listen to half the things I say. Most of the people in the Tali Thread know this, so they ignore my idiotic ramblings, and I felt it may have been a bit unfair in the Miranda fans judging my comments without that knowledge. I see your point, and of course, you are right. As for being a sexist and rascist... I'm afraid that actually does kind of hurt. My parents are rascists, and my uncle is a white supremacist. Growing up, my sister and I were told not to so much as date African Americans. Needless to say, our black friends and boyfriend/girlfriends didn't exactly feel welcome in our household. As for sexism, I can't tell you how many fights I've gotten into over that one amongst family as well. My sister and I are the only ones in our family who support a woman president, and women in the military. I can see how my remarks would paint a rather... unpleasant image of me, and I accept responsibility for that, and once more apologize. It was not my intention. I will try to keep such remarks to myself in the future. Apologies, I'm rambling.

As for why you guys like Miranda, Kraidy and I had an interesting conversation, and he added some interesting perspective to the affair. She won't be winning any popularity contests for me any time soon, but I understand and appreciate that everyone has different views. I apologize once more that this entire thing got so out of hand, and will work on adjusting my attitude and comments for the future. Frankly, I'd just like to put this behind us.

There will be no derp eyes while I'm around.



Remodelled the character eyes completely.  Instead of a circular mesh of 40 polygons...a fully modelled eye of 2,300 polygons.

Totally worth it

She will be there for Chuck, but maybe someone will ask her if her character will be back in Mass Effect 3.

I'm 99.% certain Miranda will return for ME3. I'm skeptical as to whether she'll be recruitable. There are good arguments either way.
