I'm 99.% certain Miranda will return for ME3. I'm skeptical as to whether she'll be recruitable. There are good arguments either way.
I think she will be recruitable, but now I just want to hear she will return.

Odds are, Strahovski's signed a non-disclosure agreement regarding ME3. I am nearly certain someone else will be functioning as the female lead poster girl, so she won't get the same attention she got last time.

I hope that ti will just read you ME 2 save and carry over the whole team.

Wondering if someone could shine some light on this for me. How can Miranda be relatively OK with some of the more "hardcore" Cerberus experiments (husks) when the stuff Cerberus does is comparable to what her father tried to do in order to secure his legacy (not exactly the same, but of equal magnitude)? Or am I just thinking too hard about this?

This. I had nothing against the emphasis on recruitment in Mass Effect 1, but, having done that, we shouldn't spend a lot of Mass Effect 3 doing it again. And if Miranda doesn't play a large role I for one will be very disapointed.

Wow. I especially like the third pic. That's from the "promise me you won't die" convo right? Second favorite moment in the romance.

I agree so far....jtav wrote...
Interesting bit of discussion in the Tali thread. How much does Miranda like aliens? She speaks approvingly of the STG (if she were more enthusiastic, I'd call her a fangirl) and seems almost contemptuous of those who join Cerberus out of simple xenophobia. She also talks about how much humanity can learn from the asari. Her understanding of human advancement seems to be "take the best ideas from every species and use them." I can see her having extremely close friends of other species.
...and disagree passionately with this. Because I am unwilling to disregard biology to such a degree. But you knew that. Things like that are most definitely alternate universe territory. I never want to see in the games. Bad enough that the ME universes features interspecies romance at all.... OK, enough about that.If we're willing to disregard biology and accept xenophilia as the fairly unremarkable thing that it seems to be in the ME universe, then yes I can see her getting romantically involved with one.
Yes, I would have liked that very much. A hardline Miranda would have been so much more believable than the OOC statement we get. You should have to convince her that destroying the base is the better option if you play your Shepard that way, not the other way round. And no loyalty should have meant you have to kill her.Andaius20 wrote...
I know, one of the things I didn't like about ME2's companion relationship outcomes is you never have a Wrex style situation. Everyone just bow's to Sheps will. Would have been cool to see a hardline Miri try to stop you from blowing up the base forcing you to kill her or talk her down. Or even having a psychotic Jack try to off Miri during the end run mission.
