Wow, that is stunning work. I wish she looked like that in game. Not that she didn't look great anyway but there's always room for improvement, no?

Hey, no LI bashing here! We all love Miranda, but everyone has different romance preferences. That doesn't make them idiots.
If you write Gianna I want to read it. She's one of my favorite non-squad NPCs. Also she and Miranda could be great friends.jtav wrote...
I get the feeling that pure Paragon Shep and Miranda would drive each other crazy, with her constantly wondering how he manages to survive, even thrive, when he should be dead a thousand times over. He's lucky. She's not.
I finished my edits for the first chapter. No idea when I'll post. Want to get a few more chapters. About to take my first crack at writing Shepard/Tali and Gianna. I suspect Gianna will be more fun.
You know what's annoying? She actually *could* look that good in the game - if it was developed for the PC exclusively and the game's textures and lightmaps could use the bigger memory and faster processing of current graphics cards. I'd have to buy a new PC for it, but it would be totally worth it.andysilv87 wrote...

I desperately hope they revamp Miranda's model and textures for ME2. I just started watching Chuck and Miranda's facial textures/model do not do justice to Yvonne.

To be fair, what would do justice to Yvonne?
If anything, I just wished that I could make Miranda wear actual armor in combat. I mean, realistically, once her shields go down, the only thing between her and incoming bullets is her Cerberus bathing suit thing. The worse part is, Miranda is the type of person who would wear body armor if the threat level was high enough - sure, it'll be some custom armor designed by Louis Vuitton but still.
And yes, Jack is even worse.

Like it so far. As I've already said, the character interaction is very convincing. I thought I'd dislike the Miranda/Thane angle, but that is also written so convincingly that I don't mind in a story what I wouldn't like in the game. Nice moments with subtle humor, too. Where the story touches religion, everyone is completely in-character.jtav wrote...
I really was going to wait, but...
Title: Atonement
Rating: R
Characters: Miranda, Thane, Mordin
Pairings: Miranda/Thane, Male Shepard/Tali in later chapters.
Summary:
As the Collector threat looms ever larger and those she thought she could trust turn their backs on her, Miranda finds solace in Thane's company. His death seems inevitable, but the woman behind the Lazarus Project won't let him go without a fight.
Author's Note: While this is in no sense a conversion fic, the fact that Mordin and Thane are central characters means that there is some discussion of religion in this story. The views expressed are not necessarily my own.

Hi guys. Anything new? I'm guessing chances could be somewhat good that this is 136 pages long, but then again we probably didn't say really new in the last two threads either
I wouldn't like to see her in the usual heavy armor Shepard wears. IMO, she'd wear lighter armor, perhaps something that would be classified "protective clothing". but yes, something that actually protects somewhat is a must. Not only for Miranda, but also for Thane who looks silly with his tailcoat-like clothing. I think in ME3, everyone but krogans should have a civilian outfit and a combat outfit.Bom_diggidy_Wrex wrote...

I Agree completley in some situationss like on city planets (illium citadel omega) miranda's suit is plausible but landing on tuchanka wastland full with threshermaws and other beasties she needs battle armor...maybe if we complain enough Alt apearance pack 2 will include this)
that sounds good. as forMiranda's outfit, I doubt it's as paper thin as everyone beleives, I think for her it'd be a durable mixture of fabris that probably flame retardant and is bullet resistance to a certain degree.Ieldra2 wrote...

That's a different topic from "armor or not". I can live with compromises regarding the armor, but "realistic space clothing" is an absolute must. Which means, outfits that cover everything, really, absolutely everything, and complete helmets - which may be transparent. Space outfits can be close-fitting, though. That they aren't today is a matter of technology.Arhka wrote...
Still, would rather have her in armor. I hate the fact that she can go out in space with only a catsuit and mask. If it didn't annoy me so much, I'd take her on missions more.
