Shep: So you got a butt, I have one too!
Shep: See, mine is quite exquisite too! It's all the running and fighting I think really tones you up!

Btw, that camera angle makes that modded armor look rather unpleasant. A texture change isn't really enough to make Miranda look like she wears amor, so I'll pass on that mod.

How ever since it rarely is that close most of the time, I think it's worth it. She only needs a proper enviro helmet now

Thanks Revan, for both comments. That's exactly what I mean by a Romantic (as in he's strongly influenced by the Romantic movement, not romantic in the love story sense) hero: emotional, focused on individuals instead of the group, unwilling to compromise himself for a greater good. It's my preferred Shep type, which probably explains my detachment from the romance. And Ieldra, I didn't expect any comment at all since you helped edit.
Not a fan of the second mod at all.

hmm it's interesting, especially since it has squad interactions! Miranda's never liked by any of the crew it seems.ElectricZ wrote...

I think you'd have to admit that Miranda's not well liked by most of the crew, at least at the start... and for the most part she doesn't care what they think. Jacob's probably her biggest defender, but given their past he's not blinded by love anymore.
As for the non-humans on the ship, that she's proud to serve Cerberus isn't going to win points... and she's in a position of power over them, depending on who you talk to. Couple that with her demenor, and she's definitely going to have problems.
In my first playthrough, I wanted her off my squad inside of an hour of meeting her. Jacob I trusted right off the bat. Meanwhile, Dr. Frankenstein wasted her own assistant, wanted to put a chip in my head to control me, and had to be wrangled in by the Illusive Man of all people. Plus, she was Cerberus. In ME1, I went out of my way to wipe out Cerberus cells like I was playing whack-a-mole. Had there been a "space the biatch" button, I'd have had it on auto-fire.
That was my first impression of the gal. Of course, after talking with her, finding out who she was and how she came to be (and after proving herself to be loyal to Shepard) I was glad to have her on my side. She was reliable, competent, and even friendly once you got on her good side.
So in the end, my Shepard would go to bat for Miranda in a heartbeat... But would the other members of the squad? She didn't really seem to make an effort, and she doesn't really seem to think it matters. She's the XO, period. That's kind of what Second is about... How the rest of the team look at her and perceive her attitude and motivations. It's not a PR piece for Miranda by any stretch of the imagination, but it's not meant to bash her, either. Just like any well-developed character, her flaws make her interesting.

I see my shep as being passionate, but not naïve enough to think that everything will be ok if you try hard enough, and will be the first to try to save as many people as possible, even if that means sacrificing someone or something important to him. He also prides himself on his tactical abilities, and thinks that anyone who considers him lucky should try to make one of the decisions he has had to make, much less all of them. His convictions are strong, but he isn't stupid enough to let them get people killed. He did blow the collector base though, but that was mostly to spite TIM.jtav wrote...
I say coffee. She gets cranky if she doesn't have it.

Coffee and that second mod was atrocious. I'm pretty sure Miranda is not a skank, so I'm not exactly sure as to why she would even consider wearing that. Unless she were undercover or something. Even then, though. Ugh.

hmm,I see Miranda as a tea person. It keeps her calm and level headed, which she'll need on the normandy.

Miranda strikes me more of a coffee person than sipping the old Earl Grey hot
IMO, she's a bit of a workaholic. These are usually addicted to coffee, as much as it pains me to admit it (I hate the stuff, smells like heaven and tastes like poison).

You've linked it before. I didn't say anything, but as you insist: Writing is OK, but it's not my type of story - too much characters arguing with each other for its own sake IMO. It all seems so pointless, almost like a soap opera. If you intended that, it's probably good but I wouldn't know because I dislike the genre. If not, then you need a plot.ElectricZ wrote...

Edit:
Just saw your reply above. I get your point, but her character flaw seems petty, I don't think she'd be like that. That pettiness is why I said it all seems pointless.

I did not really get that impression. They are all excited about working for Cerberus and she is the Cerberus leader, and not only that she is this top operative.
