My reaction to a Miranda game:

I wouldn't mind a Miranda novel, but I'd prefer someone besides Drew to write it. Or a "Miranda Lawson: Agent of Cerberus" comic. I'd think I was in heaven, especially if they could bribe Ed Brubaker away from Marvel. Or maybe Rucka.

If they're goint to make a franchise of Mass Effect - and the universe has that potential -  then at some point they'll need to tell stories about other characters than Shepard. Miranda has an interesting background and personality, and would make a good protagonist of her own story.

Even though Miranda is one of my favorite characters, I really don't think that she has much of a good background.

Jack maybe, since her childhood sound quite horrible, but yet curious.

Like I said she is my favorite character but come on. Her story really isn't THAT good.

It is incredibly difficult to appreciate emotional abuse that a child experiences without actually seeing it and understanding why it was traumatic.

We can wave off a great many things we hear about secondhand. All we hear is, "He pushed me to meet impossible demands", but what is that but a sentence? The truth is you don't know what happened, what all he did, or what she went through. Jack's abuse is more visible and sensational. With Miranda the scars are not so obvious, and what's more, her attitude can make you not want to look closely enough to see them.

I agree some what, not Biowares best work,but atleast the best Mass Effect character background,personalty and goal's. You can tell Bioware put real work in Miranda, unlike the other cliche party members.

As an added note it's not character bashing to say that there cliche, I find them predicable not bashing presonal view point. I'm being nice, if I was going to bash a character there wouldn't be a counter argument , because when I bash, I only state facts.

Holy crap I forget to check the Miri thread for 3 days and a new thread is here, awesome. I like the name change. Anyways I need some help. How do I take pictures from my computer and post them here on this thread, because what I just tried failed.
