This is something I probably should have posted awhile ago, but I haven't been frequenting the forums in a bit.

I wanted to get your opinions on my Miranda/Shepard scene at the end of the chapter in my fic.

It only took me 25 chapters to get there too. Huh...Posted Image

Quite frankly, I enjoyed the scene, it felt very game-canon like. Overall, your fan-fiction is one of the best out there, keep up the good job!

I liked how smoothly you mixed the game dialogue with your own. The change in scenery was a nice touch too. I noticed some awkward wording though.

While Miranda was merely speculating, maybe even kidding, but both humans suddenly reconsidered her last statement.

My grammar sucks but this sentence sounded a little weird.

dial up?!?!?!?! what are you paying like 3$ a month for that? You really need to upgrade, even 3 mbps on cable internet would be faster than that. Cable prices usually go for 10-15$ a month. Upgrade my friend.

You are aware there are people who have no choice, yes? It's either that pr satellite internet which isn't suited for heavy downloading.

Ouch, that's rough. I suffered through dial-up for 4 years. They say it builds character... :(

Well, may the telcos run some fiber your way soon!

Is anyone going to get the new DLC Lair of the SB? Going to cost 800 bioware pts?

Don't know about your Shepard, but mine can fit this role.
And as a reward, she also found someone who loves her. :P

Same here bro.

Yes, I don't care about Liara's romance but I can't miss something about the shadow broker.

So if Liara is indeed a temporary squad mate, I'll finally get my dream of a Liara/Miranda team up. I want screenshots, do you hear me? Please.

800 bioware pts is 10 U.S dollars. That's a lot for DLC. I think I'll wait for the reviews. If it has the same game play hours as Overlord then I'm not going to get it. Overlord had less than 2 hrs of game play. I'll just read about it at ME2 wiki. Pretty sure they can't screw that article up.

Don't worry, as soon as I get the DLC, my album will be filled in no time.

Right now I'm thinking to myself: "10 bucks?! That's madness! No way I'm gonna-----"

And on September 7th I'll be thinking: "Yeeeeeeee!! So excited why won't it download faster!?"

But you know, I'm ok with that. Maybe, as has been said before, Miranda and Liara will finally get the chance to talk.

I'm definitely going to get it. Even if the reviews come out and tell me it sucks, I'll pay my $10 just because I want to see the conclusion of the Shadow Broker storyline. I'll buy it and b*tch about it, but I'm going to play through it regardless.

I think many people are expecting squadmates to talk. But our only hope is that VA have already recorded the dialogues.

The only thing I hate about it is that it's probably going to blow some of my story ideas to hell. I'm probably the only one here who is actively hoping that MaleShep gets dumped for attempting to have both ladies.

Question to all of you guys.....

The Shadow Broker is possibly not just one person as the volus said in ME1. So it could be a group of people. What happens if one of the members were Miranda's father? If that's the case I'm going to definitely buy it just for Miranda.

Why the obsession with this connection? There is not a single piece of evidence pointing that way! As I have repeatedly pointed out. And a few heavy pieces of evidence against it. Miranda's father is pro-human - he was a Cerberus supporter. It's unlikely he'd become part of a group who'd sell Shepard to the Collectors. I find this so implausible that I'd actually be angry if it turned out to be true.

Didn't see your evidence....guess I wasn't around then.  I also prefer that her father NOT be a Shadow Broker as well.

A question: who of you would be interested in an alternative Shepard/Miranda romance scene? I have something playing out in my mind and perhaps I'll manage to put it into words...
