Yes you can.
Save the Council:
1) Plot tab
2) Mass Effect 1 Tab
3) Flags
4) Hit the checkbox of the relevant choices
Romancing Liara:
1) Follow steps 1-4 above
2) Go to the Values tab
3) Under Liara's name, change the number to "4" and only "4" (Very important!)
You can do this to an existing save game or create a completely new one and used the editor to modify the settings.
If you do a completely new game, you'll need to change the end game state to 'finished" and reload that as an import ME 2 save file.
For the completely new game import:
1) Go the the Raw tab
2) At bullet 4, "Plot", change the end game state to whatever you want and save
Now you can import your modified save game with all the settings you wanted.

Don't you lose out on the bonus weapon if you do this before the collector ship? You can always go to masseffectsaves.com and pick a character that matches what scenario you want if you want to start a fresh game. Paragon Liara lover completionist files are a dime a dozen there and you can use the Gibbed editor to change the name.

Well, to be
fair, it seems to be the same case with most of Shepard's casual wear
too, and the generic "suit" seems to be the best approximation. Maybe
it's the drawback of the Unreal3d engine at rendering cloth, and the
lack of credible cloth outfits in both games, to the point where I find
it jarring when fics mention Shepard wearing t-shirts and jeans for
example. I just can't wrap my mind around it.IPerhaps you can invent a name for the type of outfit Miri wears?
believe "catsuit" is the term I was looking for. Miranda's outfits are
two-piece outfits, so it's not technically correct, but the pictures I
find are surprisingly close to Miranda's loyalty outfit. And the
associations evoked by the name fit perfectly.
Edit: or is that too much associated with fetish clothing? I don't want that.
I've thought about this too and I've never been able to find the right word. I always just end up calling it an "outfit" and then describing its material and fit. "Catsuit" could work but it does sound very fetish-y and as you pointed out, it's not technically correct since Miranda is really wearing a very tight fitting jacket and tights.

My, is this dead here. Where is everyone?
Where
was I? Ah yes: the first chapter of my fanfic about 16-year-old Miranda
is almost ready for publishing. I only need a beta reader for the whole
chapter. Any volunteers? Be warned, there is no romance in this one and
the first chapter is by necessity completely without dialogue.
I'd be willing to read it over for flow, but I'm not the best at critiquing content. I do tend to be a grammar n*zi as well, which could be good or bad depending on what you're looking for

My version of gibbed (version 25) only has two end game states - "OutInABlazeOfGlory" and "LivedToFightAgain" and it falls near the top of the Raw tab. I don't need to go to any "Plot" bullet. Different versions maybe?

You will lose out on the ability to choose a new class or pick up a new weapon when you replay a ME2 game. Changing your class is easy with gibbed though and the second problem is easily alleviated by tweaking the coalesced.ini file.
Editting with gibbed alone is fun, but combining gibbed with coalesced tweaking allows you to fully unlock and customize your game.

Different sorting. There's a button on the upper left that sorts all the options. I got mine in catagories, you have it in alphabetical.

I can't believe I missed this one, but to answer your question, yeah....the term is a little dubious.

I don't know if this has become completely clear in LuxDragon's post: you can edit everything the way already posted, but *all* edits of ME1 flags will only become active once you re-import that Shepard for a new game. Changed ME1 flags will never directly affect the saved game you edit them in.jtav wrote...
Stupid question, but I'm new at all this. Can I use gibbed to modify my ME2 save so that the game thinks I've saved the Council, romanced Liara, etc. I've no interest in purchasing a second copy of ME, but I don't want to be stuck with the default.

I also think she should have been optional, but I like the antagonism between her and Miranda. And she's been lucky in my games, for in my Renegade "only Cerberus agents survive" (i.e. Miranda and Jacob) playthrough I miscalculated and she survived as the last woman standing holding the line.Yannkee wrote...
The recruitment of a psychopath like Jack should have been optional. First, I didn't care about this character, but now I really don't want to see her again. I have one "no one left behind" playthrough, but I don't think I will use this save in ME3.

I don't know if you lose the bonus weapon, but if you play for the story (I think jtav does), that won't matter much. Playing a Shepard that's ultimately not your own, that will matter.mosor wrote...

I absolutely love Jack, and I, too, think that her recruitment should have been optional just like Samara, Thane, and Tali's. At least for those who want those uber-Paragon playthroughs or just don't like her. We shouldn't be forced to off characters during the final part of the game just because if we don't like them. We should leave them alone early, and move along with the game.Ieldra2 wrote...

Just checked, she wasn't the last woman standing. I had Jacob, Kasumi and Jack (all loyal) holding the line, while I took Garrus (non-loyal) and Miranda with me to the final boss. According to Ecael's guide, Jack and Kasumi should've died (average hold-the-line rating of (2+1+1)/3 = 1.33, less than 1.5, which would mean 2 deaths), but only Kasumi died. Don't know what went wrong, perhaps it was a glitch, or some rounding effect.Yannkee wrote...

And I know it's been posted before, but I like this outfit that appeared in the Appearance Pack wishlist thread. Does anyone know the source of it?

I wonder if anyone would be able to make her face more authentic in this picture (though her appearance suits me currently - this younger image is about what I see in my mind while I'm working on my current fanfic).

No you aren't. I appreciate Yvonne Strahovski, and her appearance in ME2 has made me follow what else she's doing, but you won't find me in any of her fan forums. I'm here for Miranda.jtav wrote...
Miranda looks absolutely stunning in the above screenshot. Strahovski is pretty as well, though I seem to be the only one who finds character more attractive than actress.

I like Yvonne because she's a talented and beautiful actress.
I like Miranda because she's an interesting character.
And I'm glad Yvonne gave her voice and her physical traits to Miranda.

Yeah, same with me. After several 2 ME2 playthroughs I got hooked on Chuck, and it's been tiding me over until I'm both back with my gaming rig (traveling at the moment, with only my laptop) and LotSB comes out.
I wish they'd make some kind of a micro-series focusing on Miranda. Every week for a few months, release an episode no longer than, say, 8 minutes or so. Just something to explore her character some more and hopefully thus hint at what we'll see in ME3.
